I want to believe this is true but I am sceptical. In the statement it sounds like they'll let CCFC Ltd play for free IF they're in administration. TF said last night they'd be looking to get out of admin as soon as possible so if that happens they won't let CCFC play for free, be nice to have...
I think he was, there was a guy called Mark Franklin (or something?) who I assumed was him. He gave the CCFC accounts guy a bit of a grilling until he got called out for being involved in The Higgs Charity.
Not strictly true, as I understand it the football league deducts 10 points if the club or any of it's subsidiaries goes into admin. At least that's how I read it in their rules. I may be wrong.
Holdings aren't in admin though, never have been. The only people who say they are is ACL and that is surely spin. If they were then the staff/players wouldn't be getting paid and they are.
Pretty sure in the next few weeks holdings will buy back Ltd anyway as they can pay £1 in every £1 if...
The funniest thing about this is, if ACL are proved wrong, most will believe it's because SISU paid the administrator and not because actually SISU are right.
The administrator is probably the only open minded person involved.
This James Powell fellow is clearly full of shit, he's more PR...
Because maybe, just maybe, SISU are in the right.
I don't think it matters if CCFC Ltd is in admin because CCFC (Holdings) Ltd isn't and that's where the club's assets are.
Exactly. I also think that regardless of SISU still funding the club, there is a new board in place now and it's very different to the previous Onye Igwe, Lenny B, Kenny D, board of the past and people shouldn't tar the new board with their actions.
Controversial maybe but I actually believe Tim Fisher is the only board member of CCFC ever to stand up to the Council. Whether the actions are right or wrong is the the big debate but I do think he's the only one with the balls to back his convictions.
For the record, I'm no fan of all SISU's...
I don't get this, I'm pretty sure and ACL Statement not so long ago said negotiations have ceased, or something to that effect, yet now they're saying they've never said that. Weird.
