Hard one to take tonight, but a combination of tired legs & some players well off the pace against that level of opposition meant there was only going to be 1 winner in the end. However, It’s getting beyond a joke now with these decisions not being given.
We generally bounce back well after a...
Buzzing for tonight, has the feel of a massive game. I think if we start as with did against Bristol and get an early goal we could put 3 or 4 past these, especially if rumours of a bug in their camp it true. Rudi to silence the critics and show why he is one of the best in the division & Haji...
When I saw the line up Saturday I predicted we would score at least 4. I still maintain if we would have if we had scored early when we were on top, I wouldn't have been far wrong. If we stick with the same 11 with the boys having a weeks rest, another weeks training for Haj & Rudi, my...
Another incredible night and thankfully made good time getting home (unlike Pompey). Credit where it's due, Boro are a good team, head & shoulders above Stoke, but they lack a clinical striker.
Hard to be critical of our boys after a win like that but there were a few below par performances...
The luxury of being in the position we are in now means we do not have to set up for a draw in any games really considering the points gap we have built. Get after them early and if we drop points, we bounce back on Saturday
Always was an odd decision to make WBA Cat A+ IMO. Can only imagine as it was a sell out last year (or very close to) as an indication of a rivalry between us and the same appetite would be there again this season.
I'm in the same boat this year, granted work loads are usually a lot lighter between christmas & new years but it will be mad dash to finish at 5/5.30 and get to the game for kick off.
Interesting to see what category Ipswich is classed as. Horrible kick off time & only being 3 days later than Swansea, you would like to think it would be as low as possible
I saw on twitter the other day that Boro have only been allocated 2.5k at Charlton and it's caused some uproar as their away can hold well over 3. I wonder if the club have got wind we may get the same for NYD so are limiting their allocation ?
Not ashamed to say it was a tears in the eyes moments as the Enemy finished. Right idea not to play music after the Enemy had finished and let the crowd generate our own atmosphere.
I don't think we have played outstandingly post international break but we have been solid defensively & clinical in attack when we have chances, which in the end wins what win's league titles. If we do the basic well tonight, limit the mistakes & take our chances we win comfortably.
