I thought I was having IT band problems, but it turned out it was a tiny muscle at the back of the knee - The Popliteus, which was causing the problem. I`ve got to admit, I`ve never heard of it before and it was only a mate who`s a physio who picked it up - said it was something that got...

Working my way through my " to watch list at the mo " . Just finished series one of four of - Preacher. It`s completely bonkers and it took me a few episodes to go into it, but it`s got me totally hooked. The chemistry between Joe Gilgun as the insane Irish vampire Cassidy and Dominic Cooper...

Thanks, I was toying with Silent Hill, but haven`t read a decent thing about it yet ! Very much looking forward to Iron Lung (y)

    York

You shouldn`t have to book, with it being the end of January, but I`d book anyway, as it can get busy. I can highly recommend a bar around the corner in Stonegate - The House of Trembling Madness. It sells beers, wines and spirits from all over the world and is a cracking bar too, full of...

The Starr in the City, in the Museum Gardens is very nice and in a lovely location overlooking the river. ( It`s a spin off from the Michelin starred pub in Harome / N. Yorks ) If you`re looking for a good variety of places to eat with food from all over the world, there`s loads of little...

    York

I should be so lucky ! Lovely city, with some of the best boozers in the country, just a shame that the footy club moved from their old ground, which was around the corner from some great old skool boozers and probably the best curry house in York, to a soulless out of town site, which they...

My missus is a Yorkie mate, it`s like my second home, what type of food are you after ? No trip to York is complete until you`ve been to Betty`s Tea Room ( afternoon tea is excellent ) and January is great time to go, as there`s very rarely a queue to get in.

All The Birds Singing - Evie Wyld. Her writing style reminds me very much of early Iain Banks and in particular his outstanding debut with The Wasp Factory. A young woman, has ended up as a sheep farmer on an un named Scottish Island, having escaped a life as a teenage prostitute in the...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

All we need now is Truss to defect from her heavily over subscribed Youtube channel and the dream team of politics are back together :ROFLMAO:

Everything is subjective mate, which is why we all enjoy different things. Josh Finnan is a big talent though.

This is one that many people have probably missed due to it`s very odd screening time of 9.30 pm on Saturday night on BBC1. Waiting For The Out. It`s truly outstanding and Josh Finnan in the lead is surely one of our brightest young acting talents( the smackhead Marco -The Responder / Gerry...

You`re spot on that art should challenge us and I also thought it was a very brave piece of film making too, as everyone involved in making it would`ve known how polarising it would be, both to audiences and critics a like. I really don`t like " horror " films that base the whole premise of the...

I`ve got three pair of fell shoes : New Balance RX Terriain, down to my last pair after stockpiling them when they discontinued them nearly 20 years ago ! Walsh PB Ultra - the most basic shoe I`ve ever worn, but 100% made for the worst of the mud. INOV8 - 212 - best fell shoe of all time ( imo )
