Breaking bad gets a bit silly and starts to stretch the bounds of credibility. Saul never does that.

I rate it above Breaking Bad overall, although I concede recency bias may be talking a bit there.

The writing and casting is exceptional. Some of the supporting cast are as good as Saul - Mike and Kim in particular.
