Thomas reminds me of a Labrador puppy. Sometimes he wants to chase every ball, sometimes he'll break your best vase. Hopefully this time on the pitch leads to a smoothing out of the rough edges and an increased maturity will see him acting as a guide dog for the blind!
2 league goals all season playing 10 in a team flirting with the playoffs. It's piss poor. He's good at sliding off the pitch after balls that were always going out though.
When was the last time we went away from home and got given 3 goals as absolutely piss poor as the 3 we've given Hull tonight? Can't remember 3 gifts like that.
And I would also say I've always found it mystifying. You have 90 minutes to win a game of football, why would you limit your chances of doing that to 45 minutes by being conservative first half. And I get that teams get tired 2nd half and the space opens up but it has always struck me as...
And away against the top half. 8 defeats away against the top 12 by a single goal
Always been Robins style though. Get to Half time in touching distance and then let the handbrake off. 64% of our goals this season scored in the 2nd half of games.
And as for the match thread and criticism, it's natural. We're all still livid about Sunday. Then we're pissed off about the weakened formation tonight and then annoyed about the soft performance. It was probably never gonna happen but a statement performance tonight would have gone a long way...
Lati can't play multiple positions, it's a myth. He can't pass the ball forwards with any pace or accuracy. He's shit in midfield, too ponderous with the ball for a RB and too short for a CB in a back 2. At championship level he's a right sided centre back in a back 3, at best.
