Got to assume Brau and KKH were recruited on the basis they are fairly adaptable and can play in most wide positions?

I wonder if it didn’t help that Norm is looking like a bad investment. King stated himself he needs assets to develop and sell on.

It does seem we’re looking for quality, which I get, and it’s not always going to come off but it’s hard to understand we couldn’t find alternatives.

I cant understand why we didn’t get a wide player who could play either side. Appreciate we were interested in Godo but we should have had a list of several we could pick up for a reasonable fee and try and develop. At least Andrews will get minutes and hopefully develop.

As I said in the other thread King needs promising young players in to develop and sell on.

I wonder if King will be as frustrated as us. Needs to be bringing in promising young players to develop and sell for a profit, building that “asset base” as he said, but instead were running lean.

It’s hard to feel any excitement but pretty much every transfer gets leaked but they’ve got to do something.
