Being a City supporter who lives in Northampton and fully support the NOPM etc. I've not heard of any Cobblers fans/ season ticket holders or academy players or anyone else being offered free tickets in Northampton. Believe me if free tickets were being handed out I would get to hear about it...
I live approx 5mins from Sixfields and supported CCFC for over 40 years. I will only be going to away games this season and fully support the 'Not one penny more' campaign.
Over hearing a conversation last night in N'ton between a few football dads about City playing at Sixfields. Local people seem quite excited about the prospect of watching Div 1 football in the town and also more than happy that City fans won't be heading down to the games. So gates will...
I suggest city fans go to Sixfields and cheer on the boys from the bank behind the East Stand. This way you will get to see 3/4 of the pitch, the boys will hear you, you won't be giving any money to SISU and you would attract the media big time.
Apparently not. Ipswich have made it clear he will not be joining in the summer and Davis at Forest said he won't be returning! What a waste of a decent striker.
How about Paul Furlong, last seen on the bench at Kettering Town. At 43 we would probably get him for free and he would only want his bus fare as a wage :)
At what level do you think this current squad would be successful?
Div 1 or 2 maybe? At the moment I think they could be title contenders in the 'Northants Junior League' U13'
You can't blame the players. Sack the board!
