Obviously not all of them but Palmer got widespread boos at the Fa cup game only a week or two after the incident, which was pretty poor...

We're they promoted? Maybe I remember it wrong then? Maybe they complained it "could" have ruined their promotion? What is do remember...

According to my son they are pretty much admitting that on twitter. That and still justifying their booing of Palmer.

Mostly correct but the reason(s) I always thought it was stupid they complained so much was a) they came back out and scored the winner...

Being a curmudgeonly old git, I’d also introduce a rule whereby 30 seconds after a goal is scored the conceding team are able to kick...

Or dropping them into the relegation zone!

Deducting them on the last game of the season to take them out of the Play Offs would be nice
