I found the locals to be an amiable lot, no trouble drinking around Burslem (sp) after the game. The police seemed a bit sheepish despite having numbers, probably told to calm down after last week if it was that bad vs Wolves.

Seriously? We got there with 20 minutes until kick-off and just parked in a side street a few hundred yards walk away, easy and free. Compared to the Richo it was bliss, no exclusion zones or expensive car parks, probably pisses the locals off though.

It was a cracking goal, from where I was stood I knew it was in from the second he struck it. It was my first game of the season, we have some talented players at this level, Moussa included.

Pretty gutted for my dad. He's spent so many years attending with the same crowd of people, now it's all gone, just like that. Cruel shit to happen in the year he finally retired.

Its actually easier and quicker for me to get to than the Richo, not that i'm likely to go. We went over for a friendly a few years ago, it took about 25minutes with free parking just up the road at some shopping place.
