Don't think the youth teams winning it is particularly a problem, they're there to compete not just make up spaces in the groups.
Even if one youth team walks it then fair enough, there'll have been plenty of young players who got meaningful game time for less competitive teams.
I took my girlfriend to the home game against Bury at the start of that season, I couldn't believe how poor we were, I was bored to tears I cant imagine how she felt.

He has a really good footballing CV, think there's probably an element of publicity to it, but he's had a proper footballing education and if he weren't a singer then it'd not be a surprise.
On a side note I saw him at YNOT in 2017 and he was unbelievable, definitely recommend him
