I'm currently developing a game called "Football (Ticket Office) Manager" - could everyone shut the fuck up about it until it's released and then you can all WIN and brag about how much of an operational genius you are. Cheers.
Honestly whatever the club does, the backseat CEOs will complain. It's a tricky balancing act - you want as many genuine supporters as possible to have a chance to buy a seat, in priority order. They've done that and they will learn from it. Demand for tickets this season is higher than last and...
My assumption is that the 2K were released for sale as soon as they got them (~weeks ago) and hence what is left on the map is it.
When I checked this morning it was around 250 left... it's now literally 10 seats left. So perhaps that press release has helped, or a bunch have been taken off sale.
No, it shows all seats in the ground but tickets not on sale because they're not allocated to our team (or either team!) will still appear as “unavailable”. As such you can only see how many unsold Coventry seats there are.
Ha yes - you can try running this in the console:
$("div#map-container svg g .available").length
Or add a little bookmarklet:
javascript:alert($("div#map-container svg g.available").length + ' of ' + $("div#map-container svg g").length + ' available')
🤓
EDIT: It's complicated though because...
It's not that exciting - it's a bash command to cURL to the AreaAvailability API that the website uses with some JQ magic to parse the JSON and sum up the AvailableSeats values. Currently 1296 available.
One thing I don't know is whether all tickets are actually available that the club has been allocated. You'd assume given this was the last planned sale of the 3 bands, that everything available is on sale.
Anyways - we're still hovering around 1340 remaining.
I'm a nerd, so I wrote a little script to count available seats and it's around 1440 and very slowly decreasing. Tickets that are "Unavailable" but sat in a basket will make that number fluctuate though... but overall looks like sales are very slow now as you'd expect.
I think we agree. I see a lot of the criticism (accusing O'Hare of not caring or not trying is so incredibly off point) as people who can't admit to themselves they're anxious about replacing him. That doesn't mean we won't successfully find a way without him.
It's just a bit toxic and...
Most people are trying to convince themselves we / they won't miss him. Reality is we really will miss him both on the field & off it. Whether his form has dipped or not - that is temporary. It's so obvious how much Callum loves football and being part of a tight-knit team - he's been a huge...
I think if you look at the questions you see from pretty die hard supporters here, on twitter & on facebook whenever they have to buy a ticket online - people really struggle with technology you might consider to be really easy to use. So in some cases, 26 minutes might not feel like a lot of time!
