I raised this point on another local forum after our first away visit to their new stadium in Nov 2011. We had stayed in Brighton for the weekend and were impressed with the setup from the station to their arena with regard to frequency speed and ease and asked why it was so pathetic at ours...

It's not about having a big gangly six plus footer in the box, we do not attack the ball enough either in the air or otherwise in ALL areas of the pitch.

I've noticed MvE throwing the ball infield fairly long distances for someone in space to gather and run forwards which is a better option rather than just launching it into the penalty box.
