That’s true but then I think there’d be less arguments about it being as picky as someone’s foot being bigger (wright/wan-bissaka). The perceived advantage to the attacker if his body is clearly ahead of the defender would be easier to swallow.

They’re different sorts of strikers. Wright thrives more when he has space - to run with the ball at defenders or into space behind. Simms the more ‘target man’ one or two touches in box striker - I think yesterdays game showed it - wright worked and battled hard against the centre halves but...
