Yep, totally agree. Pointless playing anyone now who is on loan and won't be coming back, or those who are almost certainly not here past May.
Might not be entirely possible of course because there may well be a mass exodus, but I think it should be the general rule of thumb.

Go with the side he knows will most likely be here next season. Ones contracted and the ones likely to be such as Biggi. then fill in with the kids.

Playing kids is idiotic. He needs to still look and see who he wants to keep. Some loans may return so can also be considered.
Remember this wonderful squad has won one away game all season and I think 4 since the end of 2015.
The last two away games should be competitive as the other side has something to play for. So again it's a test.
Waste of time playing young players.

Its only waste of time if you are playing any player who has no future at the club if you think any of these can play at pro level than these should be given a chance to shine. Players like Shipley, Leahy, DKE, Maycock Spence and Whatmore might be in every squad next year due to budget all will come lower in the wage bracket and all have something to prove. I dont see it as a waste if these players step up and enable you to place your money in other areas of the field.

I wouldn't mind seeing Folivi get a run out. I suspect we are paying him to be here? And he's not even kicked a ball yet! Who knows; he may have been a good find by slade and might be the striker we have been missing!
And Talking of missing strikers, what's happened to the Derby lad? Seen so much of him I've forgotten his name!
