About right, there were 10,500 home fans on Saturday and about 10,700 home fans tonight. Seems about right

Would be interesting to know how many people simply gave up in the end trying to buy a ticket in the end with all the problems, pretty poor crowd considering how much they had been playing it up with queues etc.

Not a terrible gate. Just seen the championship goals, our gate better than more than one game in the championship. Embarrassing that some people prefer to sit in and watch that European nonsense competition

Not a terrible gate, but could and maybe should be better.

If you said to me we would be in the top 4 in November, unbeaten at home with Joe Cole playing I would have guessed about 14,000.

It will be very interesting to see the gate against Gillingham if we beat Colchester. If we don't get 15,000 for that, it will be disappointing.

Its decent, just anti climatic after they had been playing it up the last day.

We won't get 15k, 12-14k if we beat Colchester. I can't see attendances really going up at the moment unless we are still in this position with 10 games left.

Let's be honest, how many of us actually expect the form to last? How negative are some of us already? And we're the hardcore.

I think it'll be March before you see any significant increase in crowds beyond the 2k or so they've put on already this season (which is more than 20% increase)

Whats the % decrease on the ticket prices though?

Among the cheapest tickets in the league and winning football, whats the excuse? We really should be getting at least 15k but like you say I can't see it really increasing much either.

I dunno, I doubt it's 20%, but what are we arguing here?

We're 3rd in the league (sort of) and have the 3rd highest attendance. Why *should* we have more?

The Ricoh added about 30% on. Promotion in the 60s only added 4-5k on. We've added 2k on promise alone, it's a good result. We'd all like more but you've got to realise where we are. 15k crowds on a Tuesday night are not normal for a team where we are.

Perhaps we just have to acknowledge that in attendance terms we're not as big of a club as the likes of Sheffield United, Southampton, Leicester, Norwich, forest, etc, etc who averaged 18-22k in this league.

Although we are 2k up on last season, we're about par against our first season in league one (10.9k average) so I am a tad disappointed at the general attendance levels.

If the good run continues I think Boxing Day might see over 15k

Interesting debate, people will tell you we are a big club and belong in the premier league (based on attendances we aren't)
People will tell you we are a sleeping giant (based on attendances we aren't)
People will tell you we are historically of similar size to Southampton, Leicester, Norwich and Sheffield Utd (based on attendances we aren't)
People will tell you we are a bigger club than Bradford (based on attendances we aren't)
Even Charlton averaged between 15-20k in this division, I'm guessing most ccfc fans would say we are bigger than them? (based on attendances we aren't)

Either we're not as big as people think and people need a reality check or our attendances are poor.

When we were doing shit people constantly said get the team winning and near the top and the fans will come and we'd get over 15k if we were near the top etc. Well, where are they?

...and some people who went on Saturday and enjoyed it weren't there tonight because they were at work.

So we are now comparing a Saturday afternoon to a Tuesday night and ignore the much lower away support.

Its not that difficult to understand is it? The Sixfields disaster lost us 100's of fans for the long term.
It will take time, years, to recover that. I personally know of a dozen who used to go occasionally and now never bother, theyve just moved on.

Equally I know of a dozen or so who went occasionally before sixfields, didnt go to Sixfields, but now due to a combination of reasons are all pretty much regulars.

Its swings and roundabouts, some stopped going, some are now going regularly.

So We are not as big as the likes of Southampton funny their biggest ever attendance of 32,363 was against the mighty Sky Blues. our biggest ever crowd is bigger then Bradford, Norwich, Leicester,Bradford, Nottinghamgham Forest in fact we are number 26.
SO HISTORICALLY we are a big club and could be again......

Not really, along with the likes of italia and SydneySky Blue he was one of those who would claim that those who voiced concern about sisu taking over the club weren't real fans.

Now these same fans claim that others love sisu. They are nothing but hypocrites.
