Next Saturday at 12 we are marching from Gosford Green to Broadgate.
We have music playing on the green from 11am.
A Lady Godiva ( Coventry Fan) and Sky Blue Sam will lead the fans down Sky Blue Way towards the City Centre. In Broadgate we have the 1987 open top bus where Bobby Gould will say a few words to try and raise our spirits in these difficult times.

What will this achieve? No idea but its aim is to unite the fans and show CCC/ SISU / ACL what they are missing by not talking and getting us home.

Entertainment from local bands, 'Yes Sunshine', 'The Deserts', also 'Kirk Savage' and 'Danny Ansell'.

Is this a thread designed to put people off going?

We need to beat last year's number.

Steve, what coverage are you expecting to get?

Great idea and I fully support the march. I just fear people have moved on and don't care now.

5-7k there last year I would say 2-3k this year so probably half.

I went last year but probably not this year. It achieves very little and it certainly doesn't achieve a Ricoh return and that's the main point for me.

I'll be there, if late ;)

It may not achieve anything in itself but it shows a few things.

There are still fans out there!

If there are still fans out there, it's worth all parties (SISU, CCC, FL etc.) taking notice of the club.

And if there are fans, there are reasons to try and help the club. Without fans, there are no reasons. May as well turn the Ricoh into the national Kabbadi centre.

And if there are fans, it shows watching egomaniacs that maybe we are a club worth bothering with, despite everything.

It's not the direct results that matter, it's the longer term... and building momentum again.

Do you think it would be appropriate to attend the march and then if Joe Elliott or Gary Hoffman show up then give them a drop kick for being two faced cunts?

Now... I may not be a massive fan of either of those two ;) but I'd say if they want to attend to assert their support for a football team in Coventry they're welcome and should be praised for doing so.

As should anybody.

Is that a yes or no? ;)

For me the march is about unity. Hope every City fan attends, whether they go to six fields, go on the hill. Go to away games or not bother. Regardless of where they think the blame lays. Most fans want us back at the Ricoh, to do that all parties need to swallow a bit of pride, park their differences and get a deal on. If we can't do the same how the hell can we expect the main parties to do it. I want to use the march to let everyone one know that we're still here, we are the ones that matter and to sort it out before you lose us completely.

Has anyone tried to raise the profile a bit? Invite the likes of Huckerby, Froggatt some of the former players in more recent years? They always have a lot to say on Twitter. Big Mo must be going mental about all this! What is the level of media coverage we are going for? CT & Observer or more Daily Mail and Sky Sports News? They missed a trick last year!
