I wonder how many of the NOPM Brigade will be travelling down to the Emirates in a few weeks?

This forum is going to be unbearable for the next few weeks, can we have any posts about NOPM just put in this thread so everyone else can ignore them?

Im giving up on this hardcore NOPM stuff now because we have got arsenal in the cup. Ask Torch and Nick they will tell you

I am actually a bit annoyed with myself for opening this thread. Please stop baiting each other - dull in the extreme.

For goodness sake, how many more times? Not One Penny More obviously do not mean not one penny more, does it? Jesus, some people.

Time for the sweeping generalisation that everyone that is boycotting Northampton is doing it under the NOPM banner...

hang on.

Have cov been kicked out of the cup ?

How come NOPM are playing Arsenal now ?

Like others have previously said in other threads that NOPM does not really exist anymore. People basically do not go to Sixfields on principle that we should play our home games at HOME. Away games are a way to support the team and we will be taking 8k+ to the emirates to support the Sky Blues.

I think Nick has found 1 but let's call it 4400, in honour of the late Les Reid.

And are this 'NOPM Brigade' the ones that blame the business owners for the mess the business is in? What a crazy idea that is!

It's a dig at the 'extremists'... Because they have bleated on about how they won't go to Northampton, they won't buy a shirt, they won't buy a fecking 2014 calendar or annual for little Jonny, but hang on, I might go to Arsenal. All those who have had a go at everybody else for making their own informed choice now chose to go against their own principles. Laughable. My personal preference is not to go to Sixfields as I won't support my club outside of the City. I have bought my nephews the new shirt and I will be going to Arsenal. Job done. Each to their own but stick to your guns hey?!

That's all well and good but so far no one had been able to name one person who was 'bleating on' about NOPM and is now saying they will go to Arsenal. Seems the only people who do keep going on about NOPM are either WUMs or Sixfields attendees.

No problem with someone being taken to task if they've said one thing and are now doing differently but that doesn't really seem to be the case here.

Ouch, you got me there. I must admit it's lonely not being in the gang, so I'm going to start slagging off my fellow fans. In fact when I get home tonight I'll call my son a scab. I'll get a ton of likes for that. I'm even going to start using SISUE and Shitfields.

Ask Torchy more Not One Porky More in his case.

This is sickening. Moral high-handedness from those who have been just scrabbling for anything to hang their hat on.

Very, very few fans fully subscribe to the entire message of NOPM. Just in the same way you can be part of the Labour or Tory party without subscribing to the entirety of their policy portfolio.

For most of us, we just won't attend Sixfields; as a clear demonstration that I abhor the decision to move there. I am joined by many similarly-minded individuals; and the actions of any have attracted attention to our plight across the football community. Don't try and mock that message with small-minded semantics

That's because ACL have advised them not to say anything.

So sad that supporters who went on Saturday and will again to the Emirates and all the other away Fixtures are used as Ammunition and Fodder In such a Futile manner, when clearly It means so much to the team ,as evidenced By Moussa's and clarke's quotes in todays CT.

The trouble is who precisely are you having a dig at? If it's people on here name names or stfu!

Hold fire. I've heard many people say they will be going to Arsenal yet have always said they won't step foot in the club shop and always buy away tickets from the Oppo's website instead of our own. Imagine a world where people talk in places another than an Internet forum...

The irony of posting this when you look in ANY thread related to NOPM and it's you and Nick slagging off others for their choices.

Go on, here's your chance: NAME THOSE WHO ARE GOING TO ARSENAL WHO HAVE ALSO BEEN RANTING ABOUT NOPM.

c'mon, this is the internet. Links to posts please. Otherwise, do us all a favour and stop your incessant whining about something you can't even prove, mainly because you made it up so you had a stick to beat fellow fans with.

The word hypocrisy doesn't cover it.

Where are these people? These "extremists" that are coming out in the droves confirming they will go Arsenal? Do they actually exist are you assuming they do?

But obviously not enough. I've not used abusive terms but I think I'll start. If you can't beat 'em, etc etc

Ah, it only seems to swing one way though doesn't it, this stick of yours. It's OK to beat people who support the team at Sixfields. You're right, the word hypocrisy is pretty inadequate.

So if you have heard "many people" say it, it shouldn't be hard to give one example. One name. Please, I have a pitchfork in my hand I will use it, just point me in their direction.

I went to Sixfields and wont go again as I jinxed it and they lost to Tranmere Rovers apart from that not a bad experience and not as bad as 1 thought it would be mainly because i went with my old man a Tranmere boy through and through and a friend from Northampton who is a Northampton Saints supporter , they just took the Pi$$ all day out of me based on the result! , i cant make it to Arsenal but if by somehow going to sixfields this season i am entitled to a cup ticket i will give it to anyone who cant get one.

Neh. I keep that quiet. I'd hate to encourage folk like Grendel turning up with his SISU mankini on, hankering for a go on the Mrs....

No thanks - I never fancied Andy thorn - especially in drag.

I heard from someone who went to Sixfields that he'd kill anyone who boycotted (I haven't but if that isn't a basis for a sweeping generalisation calling everyone who goes to Sixfields murderers than I don't know what is)
