OK, let's imagine that the Trust get hold of the ground. How are they going to get the club from SISU. Or is the whole point that another team would be formed to play there.

Id imagine the plan would be to offer the club a fair deal and access to revenue, in essence maybe even hand the running and profit to the club, but the stadium can't be sold.

How does that even make sense? If the club built anything it's mean they own the Ricoh and in all likelihood the stadium management company.

Yes the suggestion was that if the Ricoh was purchased as part of the deal they had to redevelop the spare land.

Surely though if PWKH wants more rooms his company should just raise the capital through commercials loans and get on with it? Or is his company not financially secure enough? Seems an odd comment - we need more rooms - well build then.

They aren't good at taking in debt are they? They tend to get their owners to take on the debt at a taxpayers expense. Nice business if you can get it.

Enough people cried when they remortgaged to stop SISU getting their hands on the Ricoh on the cheap. Can you imagine the same people if they got a loan for a hotel?

I can see ACL investing in the future if Joy keeps up her stance. Once done the stadium and surrounding land would become self sufficient. But until we know what she is up to anything would be speculation. Does she even know what her next move is herself?

And how many would have complained if council money had been used to pay for the loans? But with a mix of the loans being paid down and a much lower interest rate the rent could be reduced. But you already knew this.

Which was because of the high wages given to players that were not even good enough. We would even be better off paying 1.2m now and getting 10,000 than going to Northampton. But lets blame the council for the wage bill.

Which is what I said. He must have known how bad our finances were when his dream started to take reality. And when the stadium was built interest rates were much higher than now. The main fault of the council was not refinancing at an earlier date. We know for sure that the council or Higgs haven't taken any money out. Yet they are blamed for the finances.

Agree with some of that, but they must also take blame for the lack of success of ACL and heavy reliance on tenant that uses the facilities 23-25 days per annum.

When you think about it, they have benefit from £2.5m+ per annum income from the club, when you take into account rent, match day charges, F&Bs then associated income like stand naming rights, parking, etc
