Give SISU any credit for keeping this young exciting squad together, if they manage to fend off a few bids & enquiries from better placed clubs than ourselves?

No? Didn't think so.

yes............................

Why?

They said they would invest in the team, all they have domne is offload! Of course there is still 10 minutes to go, but it seems more empty words from SP

Agreed keeping the squad together is great. But 6 years of miss management takes more than that

No. Might just mean no bids were made, meaning there were no bids to reject?

It's a very, very decent comment there Edgy. It has to be said.

Cannot praise anyone until we know who was approached and for which player and if the offer was too good to turn down.

Couldn't credit them with anything as I simply don't trust them. For me, everything they do from now on is part of their distress-off with ACL.

No credit at all.
We all know if genuine offers had come in players would go. Our owners have their own agenda and financial calculations. They have to have players, after all.
TBF. We have always been a selling club to a degree.
Pity the club is at such a low ebb and the squad so small there is little left to sell.
Contrast today with the squad we had when SISU arrived.

Exactly, if it turns out we have turned lucrative deals down then fair play. In the press it has said about Christie, Wilson and Clarke though so if true then fair pay...

Who cares about ACL? Would you care if ACL went bust tomorrow?

Wouldn't disagree that the squad is far worse since they arrived, and apart from a few players(Dann, Fox, Westwood), players brought in haven't matched up to them from the start.

The shame is that there were so many Sisu/Ranson sycophants that every player brought in by them was brilliant, and everybody kicked out by them was shite apparently.

Though have to say(though obviously a League One squad), that this one does have positive signs, and it looks like the Academy is finally bringing through a crop of worthy first team players, something which hasn't really happened for a while, with only odd exceptions(Turner, Bigi).

Yes nice to see some of the Academy players making it through but for how long can we depend on this continuing academy will soon be disbanded if we don't find a new home for them.

Well done SISU for not selling the players who were linked with the exit..

2 more players in now would be very nice :)

We have two angles to judge from. Waggot says they had to fend off serious interest etc. I believe him, but many won't. Fair enough.
We also had several none Cov related media outlets reporting interest/enquiries on Clarke, Wilson & Christie. With a reported 500k turned down for Christie.

I'd say its obvious there was bids & they were flat refused. I'm pleased this young side remains in tact. Credit to Pressley, Waggot & , dare I say it, Sisu for allowing that to happen.
