“@BBCCovWarks: They also clarified the 'golden share' was with CCFC Ltd - now in administration - not CCFC Holdings. More on @flupton later #ccfc #pusb”

If true. That is the best outcome for Coventry City. Over the Joe, Hoff and PH then.

I pray for an end to this vindictive madness, surely it opens doors for others. Lets hope they were serious !

Why did it take so long?
Really makes a mockery of SISU's latest High Court debacle.
Even if High Court ruled that council acted incorrectly, PH1V could simply buy ACL share of stadium. Price would be interesting, particularly if less than 14m:D

I agree. Why did it take so long. According to Twitter - posted by ChiefDave - it seems that the Council did F up when they gave the money to ACL to bail them out, but this really may knock all that on the head anyway.

SISU could yet be more vindictive sadly.
They could yet vote against a CVA for us to come out of administration.
Without an agreement, one would have to be forced through using statutory powers, meaning penalty points for ccfc next season.

I was wondering that....if the golden share and player registrations aren't owned by the same company....

I was under the impression that the golden share and player registrations were with ccfc, but the player contracts were with holdings...all very confusing :thinking about:

That might be a price worth paying

CWR and CET are not administrators and as such it isn't their duty to find out where the golden share lies.

Was the share hidden down the back of Fishers sofa?
Don't you mean some sofa located in the Cayman Islands, might explain the difficulty in finding it.

sorry to put a dampner on this but is this really news? we already knew that the football league thought the golden share was here and this is just a reiteration of that. Of course the football league should be right on this but I dont see that anything is any different now than it was yesturday.

Regardless of court action against the council I think we are nearer to ACL selling to a worthy investor now. ACL is a political hot potato they will want to drop.

SISU's actions have simply speeded the process up and now that the GS is in admin it makes the whole thing clearer.

SISU has to go. One issue may be the ongoing court case but when SISU realise they are up the creek without a paddle they should have the common sense to walk away. Regarding the players; Their registration is with the football league and therefore offers them a degree of protection. The football league may even have to take SISU to court.

Who are the 'they' that clarified it? Is it an official ruling now, so we're good to get cracking?

Imagine what could be achieved if Bob was head of the council instead of that idiot mutton

I think he wanted to be elected Mayor of Coventry, not sure if that got turned down in vote last year (shows you how much I follow politics).
