Letter with administrator showing offer of intent to purchase CCFC.

They don't want to wait 6 weeks for the administrator report and will press him to inform them of what's in CCFC ltd.

Preston is really excited by this and really loves football with lots of impressive contacts in the game.

The group is ready to move tomorrow.

Joe excepts that Sisu could put a counter offer in but re administrator must act ethically in the interest of all parties.

The group will keep communication with the fans.

Preston was interested in Leeds and Charlton before. He like the geographical position of Coventry.

Preston spoke CCFC historian and others and loved the history here.

Preston is a real enthusiastic guy, who is young and ambitious.

That's it really. But the gist is they don't want to wait 6 weeks for the report. They want to buy the club now and gear up for next season.

Joe is contacting administrator today for an urgent meeting.

Administrator has written back to the group confirming he has received their interest in buying CCFC.

Anyone else see PHIV's tan? He makes Joe Elliot look pale. Didn't realise the Sun was that effective during a Russian Winter.

Anyhow PKIV welcome to CCFC we wish you all the success in the world developing our club and the site around the Ricoh.

It great that they are applying pressure on the administrator.
He is hiding behind standard operating procedure tegarding the 6 weeks and that could just be an update.

As many have pointed out.

If the golden share is in admin the club is up for sale if not.
Then the FA and SISU need a chat.

If the club is up for sale and the administrator drags it out until next season who is to say an American with 157 million who wants to buy half of ACL and the club may not be around.

The administrator must already know where the golden share is as do the FA

To be fair though its hard to sell something when you dont know what you are selling ie even if the ownership of the share has been dealt with...which I'm not sure if this has 100%, what about player res's etc (I do imagine that this should be something that could be worked out within days rather than weeks though).

Also the administrator will only get paid out of the asset realisations. Does he risk offer(s) disappearing and not getting paid ?! Does he gamble dragging things out to get more costs ? Is there other interest out there that he will have a duty to explore in order to maximise realisations. We dont know

If I was him and there was a good offer on the table (we dont know how good the offer is at the moment). I'd find out about the golden share and the assets whilst running a very short sales process, then get it sold asap before the interest disappears.

As the main secured creditor he may well run the offer past Arvo (although this will depend on the sales process and if he is running a closed bid process), this gives SISU the chance of offering more.

Just hope the offer is sensible and SISU arent in a position to outbid.

please make this happen. and quick. would love to start next season with everthing sorted out.

If the football share is in the CCFC LTD company and a new 3rd party purchases this can SISU keep holdings?

Would this mean we start again with a completely new team as they hold all the player registrations in holdings?

30 years of following this Club has taught me never to be optimistic and always to expect the worse. Its easier this way.

Promising news nonetheless and it stops Sisu apologists coming out with the 'no one else will be interested for years or ever' crap:facepalm:

No because they would not be allowed to hold any player registrations as that would be 3rd party ownership unless holdings owns the golden share.

SISU break up and sell off a lot of businesses.

Long term although appearing neutral on the surface.

He may get a lot more business out of them in the future if this goes well for SISU

You have to hand it to Hoffman and Co.
They have played a good game and exerted maximum pressure on Sisu who are wriggling on the hook.
If what you say is true about the whereabouts of the golden share it looks as though the "hook" is of their own making.
More incompetency?

The administrator cannot say anything for two reasons, firstly there is an appeal ongoing which could have significant outcome as to who has right of ownership on the golden share and secondly he needs to produce a full report to the courts who would look pretty dimly on him leaking information to the press first.

As the old saying goes "Patience is a virtue, possess it if you can"

Well SISU could bid what they like? It's not cash is it - just moving a debt from one SISU company to another - They would then right off the ACL debt and nothing will have changed.....A bleak but possible thought!

They can't write off ACL debt, if they pay say 30 mill to buy the club from themselves and that is 50p in the pound then they would have to pay acl half of what they owe them surely? but im still very concerned about the scenario you suggest

Ask yourselves when the moment presents itself why are the council so reluctant to make the shift to changing the set up around the Ricoh arena?

Now when an investor appears who may develop the land they want would they not offer the stadium on a long term lease and disband his nonsense ACL/Higgs group operator?

The football club will not thrive as long as we are 'sub-tenants' by way of ACL to the council. the council are not recognising their obligations to the community and are putting self interest ahead of it.

He can land his private jet at Coventry airport which is 15mins by car or 5mins by chopper (not the bike). We could also rename coventry airport to "Preston Haskell IV international" this just gets better and better for me. :claping hands:

Will you just stop this. The only person mentioning this is you. It's a weak comment in the first place, yet you band it round like it's just entitled you to MENSA membership.

At the time of people saying that no one is interested, how likely was it that someone would be? What evidence was there to suggest anyone would be there to buy us? It was a rational proclaimation back then, and arguably still is, as the only thing that has happened so far has been that someone has written a letter to someone else stating they're up for the challenge.

Let it lie. Let's talk about the here and now and forget/learn from the past.

Oh and for the record - labelling people is further evidence of your weak stand point. There are no "SISU appologists" "SISU rent boys" or any other rubbish names you'd like to sling. There are just fans with a different view point from yours. Get over it.

Remember GPE has a masters, a distinction no less.

Perhaps clever descriptions regarding sisu formed part of his dissertation.

It is good to have hope or the possibility of alternatives....... we need some positivity

but an awful lot of assumptions being made if you ask me based on very little information, and presented as facts or done deals
