Will Sisu Now Decide to press for Admin - as the season is now almost done? (1 Viewer)

Will Sisu now throw in the towel as the season has taken a turn for the worse?
A 10 point deduction now wouldnt make that much difference.
This just could be the straw that breaks the camels back! :(

How do you know that? Are you one of them?

Anyway, that kind of admin move is always made when there's 1 game to go. And SISU won't put us into admin as they'll lose any control they have left, and prospectively every penny of their magical 45m.

You seem genuinely resentful of the fact that their are individuals out there prepared to prop up the football club you support. An odd position to take.

We can all criticise their decision making and poor management, particularly last season, but let's not belittle the huge financial loss they have incurred. I take no pleasure in that personally, but then I'm not particularly resentful of people who have money.

Some city fans can't be arsed to part with 20 quid to support their football club, but the same people hurl abuse at people who have put in millions. Complete fucking cocks. With that sort of idiotic thinking bouncing around their head you do wonder how these people get through the day.

I go every home game, pal. And in no way do I perceive SISU as poor ickle angels who are here out of the goodness of their hearts-if they had a problem with "propping us up" and piling up losses, they could have ended it like that last August.

Yes the spineless ones who are scared to death of Fisher and who went into hiding after they forgot they shuck hands on a deal. Where is the local hero Clarke, Mr PR Guru, I would like to see him say in public he was not part of the CCFC Board who agreed a deal with ACL, history now, but that was the turning point. The brave are those who swallow the pill, Fisher has made the fight too personal.

Well done, what do you want, a medal? If you go every week then clearly that last comment was not aimed at you so you can wind your neck back in.

So like me you chuck a few hundred quid a year into the pot. Our contribution is like a piece of hay in a giant stack of needles.

These people on the other hand make massive contributions and are set lo lose pretty much all of it. Clearly their priority is protecting their investment, but protecting their investment and keeping the club afloat amounts to the same thing at the moment, so at least acknowledge that. I know people like to think of SISU as Dr Evil types sat in a hollowed-out volcano stroking freakish cats, but the reality is they are ordinary individuals who have worked hard and built up personal wealth which they have now lost a sizable chunk of. They have made massive mistakes and will ultimately pay a big price for that. No need for the spiteful, vitriolic hatred that some have.

Ferret, you will have us crying in a minute. So many assumptions in that post.
Hedge funds play hardball. Their investors are people willing to risk big money in the hope of making big gains. The idea that they have worked hard for this money is laughable. Many of them inherited it, embezzled it, gained it with creative accounting and others are money laundering. All of them CAN afford to lose it or they would have put it in a building society!
Stop with the sympathy for the type of people who caused the banking crisis and worldwide recession with their activities using money like the world is a giant casino.

Really don't understand this attitude that because Sisu have invested a lot of money they are free from criticism.

Every year the Government spends millions on the NHS, does that mean we are not allowed to criticise South Staffordshire NHS?

Definitely to administration. This would only happen if the owners feel that by selling up they (and other creditors) can get much of their owed money back.

SHITSU can't get anything like their £45m back and the £1.3m they owe ACL they could pay now if they wanted to.

SHITSU have gambled in football and need to keep going long term to get it back

Like they would worry about any other creditors other than them selfs. if that was the case they would pay the dam rent and take that problem away at least.

Would you go to a butcher and pay for burger, but expect to get fillet steak?
Lot's of us "Oldies" have paid for season tickets, and paid "On the gate" at HR.
Even though former boards were "Slagged off" they gave us decent players,(30 odd years in Prem proves that) Can SISU say the same?
Scenario.....SISU walk away crying they have lost £45m+ and are skint....Following day buy another football club. To show "Due Dilligence" produce £45m+....Are you going to believe Joy Septic hired David Copperfield who miraculously magics that lost money back!
Or all those £20 from "True Supporters" who "Backed their club"
Who now, in your words are the Complete Fucking Cocks???

We are actually partly paying for things previous boards have done and I'm not just talkign about selling HR. But at the end of the 90s when we were all enjoying watching Dublin, Keane and McAllister the board didn't actually let on to us that we couldn't actually afford them which is why we ended up in so much debt and so on and so forth. We were paying Dublin and McAllister £20K a week each - £2M a year just for them. When we were relegated to the Championship our wages were actually 125% of our revenue.

So yes, previous boards gave us decent players but they were sticking everything on the credit cards.

Now, don't swear at me, I'm not having a go at you just giving some background to what other boards have been up to.

The main thing that got us into trouble in the late '90's was borrowing against future income. That was very short sighted and dangerous.

I think it was classed as someones bonus.

It actually was! Keane was signed under one of Richardson's dodgy schemes whereby "benefactors" pay/invest the fee for the incoming player, then get the profit if there is one when he's sold. This would of course today be punished under FIFA's 3rd party ownership regulations, like West Ham with Tevez. It also meant that there was no way we could have turned down the Inter bid..

By an amazing coincidence though they did manage to hold off the Inter bid up until the point most people had renewed their season tickets.

I'm not going to swear at you this time Torchy, at no time in my post did I condone what former Boards have done with CCFC.
But at takeover By (SISU) we were stated as being approx £40m in debt, am I right?
I have no reason to dispute that we were paying very high wages, especially to Dublin and McCallister...and I think you might find it wasn't £20k pw...Dublin was on £25k pw in his last season at CCFC.
Yet we are quoted as being £45m+ in debt now!.....This much with nothing to show for it!.......Former Boards have a lot to answer for......but what about this shower in charge ATM???
In my eyes with the £40m debt from previous regime being wiped clean(Said by Ranson himself)....and are still in debt £45m+ surely that says £85m+....and SISU are still here?!?!

Sky Blue Kid

Or if you look at it another way........If the debt is truly £45m+.........It means after 6 years tenure CCFC are really only £5m+ worse off than when SISU took charge.;)

How can a long established top filght club lose all its fixed assets, be relegated two divisons, and lose £85m in under 20 years?

When you combine the losses generated by Sisu and the last shower it really is mind boggling.

How can we be so unlucky to get two lots of owners as bad as this?

I'm getting bored, nearly everyday there seems to be a thread about going into admin. Do the maths people our biggest debt is to sisu, so why would they put the club into admin?. How would they gain out of this, answers anyone!. And imo, if we do go into admin and the ground situation is not sorted out we could be back in the same boat in a couple of years time. And also imo, acl are the guilty ones here. I'm not for or against sisu but they do have £45 mil invested in this club and the only chance to claw some of that back is to save the club and to do that they need to get the rent situation sorted out before they can either sell the club as a going concern or stay and start pushing up the leagues to increase income.

Why does it have to be Sisu who put the club into admin?

What do you think will happen when HMRC can't be paid?
