Confirmed Signing Yann Gboho (3 Viewers)

Lampard has spoken about LT and YB for the first time.

He has said they’re fit and training. They’re adapting to the way we play and understand how we are off and on the pitch. They’re adapting to understand the demands. There’s only so many spots in the team. There’s no drama. It doesn’t matter how much you cost, train well, deserve their place and adapt to get. They’re both fine and we want them to succeed.

That's a nice update to read

Although the off the pitch bit does make you think they werent doing something right. Maybe not staying for team dinners or arriving late to training etc

Lampard said Yann is a very talented lad and said he joined after the transfer window, hardly trained with the wider squad before heading off to Ivory Coast and come back.
But posters on here said they were in bomb squad and that it was unacceptable....

Anyone ask him if Todd Kane shagged Sheaf’s missus or not.

You would think he the first player to ever have a bad sub appearance. Do you think he meant it on purpose? Do you think there is no chance he will get back to form????

I just don't understand how football fans have changed so much due to the internet. Such cry babies.
I'm sure he will be disappointed as well, but Simms put in a decent enough performance off the bench and scored in the previous game and looked happy and motivated in interviews. It just seemed to me it would be fairer to have brought him on than a player who's stupidity in his last appearance left us a man down for the best part of half the game and has yet to score a league goal for us.

Jeez, this isn’t the local club’s U12s. It’s got nothing to do with being fair, it’s about maximising our chances of winning points.

And did it maximise our chances of winning points? Given we got worse after he came on i'd say not.

Simms could have scored a hattrick against Newcastle and Lampard was never bringing him on.

I do think in hindsight this was all blown out of proportion. He just wants to play rather than sit on the bench and pick up his wages which can only be a good thing. I think we will see him on the grass Saturday at some point. Maybe not start but I can see him getting a good run out

Looking at the other options I hope he plays on Saturday. Mason Clarke looks miles off the required standard and his short comings are really showing up he can’t beat his man with skill, not quick and not intelligent so always makes the wrong decisions. BTA is lucky to be in the squad I couldn’t list his faults.

It's not that hard.

Pros

Workrate

Cons

Everything else

I think BTA's work rate with out the ball is getting him a game, because with it , he's pretty underwhelming . EMC is only going to get game time if he shows the same willingness. Problem is he's not that kind of player. I honestly thought he'd progress in the Prem . He hasn't shown it yet but it's still early days.

I do think EMC is almost unplayable in the Championship but Premier League is a step too far for him.
Can't write him off yet surely. It took him a while to adapt to the champ when he first arrived.

Also he's literally just had a baby, probably a bit knackered. I think we need to give him a bit of time.

Well no wonder he was looking leggy. Didn't realise he was pregnant!

Yet some wanted him to have a row with Rob Gurney about it.
Just be thankful that prat gimoc has gone, he'd have been on here telling us Gboho two footed Frank's wife and Tchauna then gave her a stone cold stunner.

Caught 5 mins of CWR earlier whilst driving, they were on about the incident at FT of the Newcastle game that quite a few people saw (the discussion was about LT and YG being left out of squad).

What was the incident???

I didn’t see exactly what happened to lead to it, but Bobby Thomas was fuming and having a go in the direction of the other players, then him and Rudoni were both led off individually by security staff. I thought it was an altercation between the two of them but maybe not.
