I don’t think RLC fits neatly into the team any more. He’d still start, of course but from our POV, I think we’re sound at AM. 4-3-3 and Hamer/Rudoni at AM is solid imo.

Gomes makes sense to some extent but even there, unless the plan is to start him at some point… if he’s covering Grimes who just doesn’t get injured, it’s pointless.

The full quote is:

The information is from spring, so it’s not up to date and the wording suggests it’s not a hard and fast rule.

Don’t get me wrong, 50k makes sense but I imagine that we’d go higher for a player like Tomori and probably even Awoniyi who’s reportedly already on 50k p/w.
