I think he will be signed as the long term Grimes successor, with grimes used as more of a progressive midfielder.

Not a young player but would also go in this summer for Tanaka if sky sports were right and he’s available for £10-12 million.

Got good athleticism, and good passing range. High work rate and has a year experience in the prem (all be it in a squad role) so knows the level. Think he could compete with grimes and if you get him and Martel, you’ve got two centre mids for £12 million total plus wages.

I did a dive on this guy and his numbers are fantastic.

25 years old, out of contract in June, 3 goals/16 assists vs JDS 0 goals/3 assists. Europa league experience. Better aerial dual win % and crossing accuracy %, played 45 matches last season, starter for Morroco (ranked 8th in World)

There’s a Saudi club claiming they’ve signed him and Leeds and West Ham have been linked so there’s a bit of competition for him tbf but yeah his stats are what attracted me. Takes a set piece too
