Well that's the first time this season I haven't been nervously watching along another game or refreshing the scores to see how it affects us!

However a quick scan of the full times just now and seeing yet another (P) goal for Ipswich is no surprise...

There's no conspiracy, but they are very good at conning the referee, and do seem to get an inordinate amount go in the favour; it seems acting like whiny little piss-ants really does pay.

In both of our games, just for example, they got massive game-changing decisions that went in their favour, and for a very niggly, often downright dirty, team, no reds is very strange. They've had massive slices of good fortune to get where they are this season.
Exactly this. Makes no sense for there to be a conspiracy in their favour - after all who really wants to see Ipswich back in the Premier league?!

They are just very very skilled at cheating. Clearly it comes naturally to people like Clarke and Philogene, and you have to assume that Mckenna at best tolerates it and at worst actively encourages and coaches it.

But they're all falling for it,it doesn't matter who they're up against or the opposition they are consistently getting the benefit of the doubt, that really isn't a good look IMO?

Holy crikes! Middlesborough have just won a game of football 😲
We are so back. Can we still catch you?

Possibly the dullest game of football this season. Total contrast from the 2nd half at Penswhich on Sunday but at this stage and after this run, a win is a win. We have played much better and lost recently.

On to Watford and an improved performance hopefully and more than 1 goal.

Dreaming of beating Ipswich in the play off final with a contentious Penalty

Yeah, I think so. They've had many more contentious ones this season.

Ipswich fella makes a meal out of it but there's contact and if it was us, I'd defo want it given. Right decision on this one.

It's the inconstancy that is the main issue.

Ipswich get the rub of the green across the pitch. Not picking up yellows for blatant fouls. Not getting second yellows. Players constantly going down soft.

Well, strikers aside, we'd tried playing really well and drawing or losing. Umpteen times.

When it turns out that playing shit and therefore winning was actually the way forward all along.

It is possible to play well and win (see our game Tuesday night), though it must have been frustrating to see Pompey falling over themselves to gift us several goals, albeit under massive pressure.

Like O'Shea manhandling the Charlton forward and not even getting booked, and Taylor twice scything down Charlton players and only being booked on the second one.

And their left back who went down after a heading duel acting like he'd been hit with a hammer when the reality is the Charlton player won the header and hadn't touched him. That sort of nonsense has to come from the manager.
