It's done mate.

It's fucking done.

With four games to go no less.

Did I mention?

It's done.

If, and it's a big, IF, Ipswich win all six remaining games, they would have 93 points. We currently have 85 so would need 8 points from our remaining four matches to secure the title.

It was so bad yesterday, promotion or not I just feel crap, it’s the realisation of how far team is away from being premier league quality I think

few players were embarrassing yesterday BTA Onyeka front wright Simms
I remember the Oxford game being a similar pattern, but we followed it up by beating our closest rival to kickoff a run of 8 wins from 9.

Sometimes a bad day at the office is just a day

You need to get a thicker skin for next season, then - otherwise you'll implode. You need to enjoy what's happening now (have a party at the next 4 games, regardless of results) and soak in what we've done. If you keep worrying about what comes next, you'll drive yourself mad (e,g: Just look at what's happening in the wider world - I actually know someone who had a breakdown years ago who couldn't cope with world events, and where it was all heading. Thankfully better now. But you get my point). PUSB !!

With respect what an odd way to look at an incredible achivement ..

Every team that gets promoted is far away from being a premier league side

These players are the best this club has seen for almost 3 decades

As a group maybe but I don’t think individually any are as good as Gus or Vik were for us tbh.

It wasn’t that bad but was a frustrating result in the circumstances as winning would have wrapped things up in a better way. I thought it could be a nervous performance but thought we’d find a way to win.

I think this is a release of a years long season of tension and nerves whether we could make it.

I think whenever we “officially” did it it was going to be more of a slow release and sink in rather than anything dramatic and euphoric.

Hopefully now the tensions off us and the lads can enjoy the last 4 games in this division

Any tension (which I will actually enjoy, as there is no real downside) will be created by the build up to clinching the title (or not). Regardless, at the end of the day there will be celebrations galore (with a cherry on top if we win it).

Unfortunately we couldnt afford the group without them leaving

Id rather this team over the 22/23 team though

I think it taints people’s views though going from players of that quality to what we’ve got. Obviously we’re better balanced now, but I think it accounts a bit for people’s views of Haji Wright even though he’s out scored Vik or even the defence and midfield.

What's with this 'entitled' that is quoted endlessly.

There's nothing entitled about me.

I'm just an old working class ex council house kid from Canley, I'm a fucking doughbag and I'm no more entitled than the next person and all I'm saying is I didn't enjoy yesterday's game.

Well the entitled people are those that are saying getting promoted is a damp squib and not perfect.

Nobodies on about yesterdays game, you are in the wrong thread.

It’s really strange but I can’t get excited yet either, even though I know it would take nothing short of a miracle for us not to finish in the top two.

By my calculations, if Millwall win every one of their remaining four matches by a margin of four goals and we lose all of ours by the same margin then we still go up by a better goal difference of one goal 😊

You would think that would be enough to convince me to crack open the champagne, wouldn’t you? I guess supporting the Sky blues for 63 years has done funny things to my brain 😄

I think I spk for most.
We want the Championiship And the Trophy Lift.
We’ve def played the last 2 games not to loose, expect the same again Friday as a point does it, just got that feeling we won’t get it done against Wrexham and we’ll have to wait for the Ipswich game after or v Watford, just want to see us lift the trophy against Wrexham,

Yes we are coming across as incredibly entitled as fans to be honest.
but a win yesterday would of given us a better chance to have enough points to win the league against Wrexham, we all want to see us lift the trophy at home not away at Watford, the problem was that there was that much expectation yesterday, left feeling a bit flat, I’ll be feeling better Friday at Blackburn about 10 o clock,
