I quite enjoyed St Andrews with travelling to the games on the supporters coach .Yes hated going to st Andrew’s at first but it did feel like a big away day out every match and the football was good So in a strange way become quite enjoyable - I assume you could call it trying to make something good out of a bad situation
What about if you was supporting the away teamAnybody who went to watch Wasps should be banned from city games.
Sneering. Met a few Cov fans who fell off the waggon & no longer go. And Surprisingly not entirely enjoying our climb back to the top.
One said he was backing us to get relegated as soon as odds available. Another hates King and is not having it.
I think there is a German word for it...but its too early.
Epic that one the whole pub takeover, but time for another one,a session and a run out, beautiful!I remember a load if us got to Crewe about Midday and started drinking in the Express which I beleive was a home pub, by 4pm we had over took the place, was heaving, Crewe Youth goading City fans through the windows. David Mapp's (police liason) hitting stick had never seen so much action.
Pretty sure they over sold the ice cream stand as well. Concidering we lost was a stand out away day and the origin of the infamous "Dan, Dan, Dan" CWR phone call

Jesus, imagine, we’d of been the next MKdons only worse
You should be banned for kissing Sisu's backside for years tbh.Anybody who went to watch Wasps should be banned from city games.
We must have put about £200+ in the juke box that day, vague memory of them only having 2 bar staff for majority of the day aswell!Epic that one the whole pub takeover, but time for another one,a session and a run out, beautiful!
Cov united aren't risingNow now lads. Everyone had there reasons and everyone has there opinions.
The phoenix is rising and we are now seeing the true capability of the club we all love.
Instead of squabbling let's just enjoy every moment as we All deserve this.
Play up sky blues 🩵

Clear wrongun.Mate on my whatsapp supported LIverpool 5 years ago. Now supports city and is moaning about people "jumping on the bandwagon".
Oh yeah he also supported Wasps before us.
The OP probably knows himOh yeah he also supported Wasps before us.
Hope you wear your big home made I'M A REAL FAN badge with pride for the rest of the season.Credit to all the real fans, the ones who have weathered the times, supported the club through thick and thin. Let's enjoy the next few months knowing we stayed strong and never went to watch Wasps or Coventry United.
To the 10 thousand proper fans of this club, enjoy. CCFC.
I never took it off after going to checkatrade games and getting a block to myself.Hope you wear your big home made I'M A REAL FAN badge with pride for the rest of the season.
Are you sure it had anything to do with football Clint? On more than one occasion I found myself on my own in the bullring tavern at 11.30 in the morning. Pretty grim now I think about it!
Proper fans? I take it you see yourself as a 'proper fan'.
I'm one of those pretend supporters these days. When life allowed I hardly missed a game but things changed. Life changes for many including health reasons, working shifts and even not being able to afford to go.
I'm no superfan. It's been years since I hardly missed a game home or away. Lived nowhere near Coventry and was a shift worker, but when available for a game I wouldn't consider the distance. For instance Yeovil was about 400 miles each way for me.
How about those who followed us everywhere but are now in bad health?
Life changes. It's great to see the support we now have. Proud of what has happened the last few years and would love to go to every game home and away but it's impossible. So that makes you a much better supporter than me. I'll be thinking about you the next time I'm taking 2 or 3 days to go to a single game.
The past 25 years for me in song form
So easy, cheers lads.
No it wasn’t the most likely outcome and it never actually happened. Those hoping for the club to be liquidated went off to support Coventry United. Please don’t lie and pretend you expected the rise to happen.
The most likely outcome was the club ceasing to exist by the early 2020s. A phoenix club would’ve taken its place.

I enjoyed the dark days in a strange way. Not what was happening to our club, but having to find on a map where it was we were playing and ending up in some dilapidated stand. Going to places I'd never been before then hoped I'd never go again. Meeting genuine supporters of other clubs where their dream is to spend a season in the Championship.Exactly, we all deserve this, but It’s the ones who’ve kept us going through the dark days I’m really pleased for, enjoy every minute and Thank you,
You just said you hoped the club went out of existence ffs.Ok. Obviously the most likely outcome was, with no money, putting together a premier league team and buying a £50m stadium that wasn’t even up for sale.
I must congratulate you on your creation. You’ve managed to combine the pomposity of Captain Mainwaring and the piousness of Keir Starmer into one character. Quite an achievement that I haven’t seen done before
No I didn’t. Talk about twisting my words. I said I couldn’t see any other way forward than a phoenix club. You just said you hoped the club went out of existence ffs.
