Even better is the 4 games in 9 days starting with Middlesbrough at home. Then they have to travel to 3 away games ending up in Southampton. They’re going to be knackered against a side that's won 11 and drawn the other 3 in their last 14.

It's starting to look very good for Millwall. What's best about this is we're 11 points and 32 goals ahead of them with just 6 games to go. Just 2W 1D 3L would be enough if they win all 6. Our competitors are dropping like flies

I don’t see Millwall losing another game this season. They’re in the driving seat for me even considering Ipswich’s games in hand.

They have Norwich next and finish with Oxford. Neither an easy game, especially Oxford if they need anything out of the game to stay up. Should have enough for the other 4 though.

Kyogo not even getting in Bham squad now cus they’ve replaced him with Priske who is just as fucking useless. 11 games no goals. Their recruitment team needs sacking. Pissed a lot of money away.

Priske is hardly getting any minutes. Can’t be judged yet. I’m sure in time once he settles in the league he will do well

You have a very good midfield but are average everywhere else at best. Your midfield just keep passing it to each other but you don't have a decent striker. Your defence isn't that good and you need a decent GK. Best midfield? Maybe. Best team? Nowhere near.It's all there in the xG

We still have by goals conceded the best defence in the league this year. Our outfield defence is actually right up there.

Keeper I'd agree with you mind. Brynn isn't a bad keeper overall, but he's nowhere near the standard of a top keeper in the championship, such as Rushworth. The last time we had a keeper that good in this league was when we had Darren Randolf and Shay Given who kept us away from relegation battles single handedly with mainly shite outfield players on front of them.

The reason we've failed this season is entirely down to personel in both boxes, not the other 8 or 9 players in between, most of them are top notch.

Throw the absolute kitchen sink at strikers cash wise and we should be a better performing side next year. What lots of sides have shown us is that every other player on the pitch can't do a great deal to affect results compared to a guy who can just bury it in the onion bag.

So Carrick is likely to qualify for the Champions league and the are probably going to fail in the play offs again?

Because we create more than we did under Carrick.

It's just unfortunate that the strikers we have are far inferior to what Carrick had at his disposal. Strelec and Conway (who is more of a left winger now let's be honest, so not sure we can even count him in the equation properly) aren't fit to lace the likes of Akpom, Morgan Rogers or Latte Lath's boots.

Wolves, Burnley, Spurs/West Ham, 4 out of 6 of Ipswich, M'Boro, Millwall, Southampton, Wrexham, Hull. Birmingham, Sheffield Utd

Maybe a couple of others I have missed, but it does look like a brutal division next season, so really glad/important that we've made it this season. Hopefully sets us up nicely to strengthen as a club.

They've been in solid playoff form since Manning left, good manager, squad likely to be stable compared to the likes of Brum or the parachute teams, and I think they have a bit of the Sergeant money left to spend).

Yeah I'm sure that's what the Burnley coaching staff,players & fans etc will all be hoping for next season too

I know this post is tongue in cheek, but I will bite to say most strikers would love to go to a side that regularly creates 30 shots a game amd relish the prospect of showing the current crop what they're doing wrong.

I'd replace Sheff United with Norwich in the most feared sides tbh.

At least if we get promoted next season fending off the rest of that lot, we'd have had more practice for the Prem (and by default a much better forward line to start from) and probably stand a much better shot of staying up than if we went up this season.

still got the lottery of who comes down.This is a bit of a one-off season - normally at least 2 of the 3 relegated sides challenging for automatic spots.(although Wolves look like a disaster waiting to happen if they don't get new ownership)

I will say again i dont get why some of our lot are slightly hostile with you as you have been generally very good on the forum ...and respectful .

I feel for you buddy , its going how i anticipated it would with your lack of killer instinct really coming to bite you on the arse HOWEVER all it takes is for a couple of your forward players to hit some form right now and you can finish the season strong .

Ipswich will be top 2 after their games in hand but i fancy them to stutter with some tough fixtures and you simply have to beat them so its still doable but millwall have some very kind fixtures and are in good form

Playoffs are a reset anyway imo. Southampton look like they'll go into them as the form team but does it count for much? I think the playoffs are going to be really hard to call, if Millwall keep this up you're looking at Ipswich, Southampton, Boro all in there.
