I can see Frank sticking with grimes, onyeka and Rudi as starters. Pretty clear he loves grimes and Rudi. Onyeka obviously starts.

Gk is the obvious one I missed out

If he started with those three, I don't think he'd stick with it long.

The pace of the PL is ridiculous and I really think Grimes, how ever much I like him, would find it too much and he'd be a squad player by Xmas.

We would all love to be loyal to the team that looks like is getting us up this season but realistically to have any chance of staying up our squad would need a total overhaul. Id say mve onyeka rudoni bobby would be the only starters. Emc wright saka would be squad players the rest would need to be addressed. The golf from Premier league to championship is vast

He’s got an excellent record at this level I’m not sure why everyone wants to undervalue him tbh. If Woolfenden is worth £4m and Sheaf £6m you’re really claiming Simms isn’t worth £8m?

Nah it’s a fair point. I just think there’s going to be an element of crowd control in our transfer policy this summer and with some players it’s going to be more about getting them out the door than squeezing the very best fees out of Championship teams. But I obviously hope for everyone’s sake that you’re right, I really rate Simms at this level too.
