Really really fuming in the way Robins has treated us Coventry fans. Let down the players as well.

HE LIES WHEN HE WANTS

At least let's hear what the bloke has to say!!

If he says he just went because of the money then fine slag him off then.

At least listen to what he has to say on the matter first though. Maybe there has been a fallout, who knows!

It just doesn't add up. Something must of happened for him to leave so hasty like this.

Well that's my thinking. It just doesn't seem to add up.

Sky Blue blood, going nowhere, and a couple of weeks later ups and offs?

He always came across as a honest bloke too. Just doesn't make sense to me.

Just wonder if something went on. A disagreement or suchlike.

He got an offer from a bigger club that are not a year behind with their rent :(

Higher league, more money and people are still purring over the turnaround he's overseen. Give it a couple of months and a finish outside the playoffs and he may well have regretted not forcing this move through.

I don't think there are any secret motives - as much as I hate SISU.

Hate to say it Otis, but I don't think he has anything to say. Has gone for what he deems to be a better offer. Perhaps it is money, or maybe it is because he wants to move back to Yorkshire. Either way, I don't think there are any behind the scenes issues. Guess we'll find out tomorrow, so I'll reserve judgement until then.

The sad thing is the realisation is dawning on me

Either the new manager does shit an is sacked after 9 months
Or
He does well and leaves for a bigger club within a year

:(

There are going to be two sides to this story. We, as fans, have to try and pick the truths out of both sides of it to try and come to some understand what's happened.

The thing that gets me, is it seemed as though we may finally have had a chance to break our cycle of mediocrity. The future did not look as grim as it did at the start of the season, but at the moment it feels like we're stuck in a never ending cycle, with no way of breaking out of it. If (when?) the news becomes official, we cannot afford to dither on appointing a new manager. Otherwise, it's game over for the season.

Again if Robins does state broken promises are a factor, he will not be the first to say it. But lets wait until all is settled before pointing fingers in any direction but does seem hasty from last weeks statements even with hudders being mentioned.

Does his family still all live in Yorkshire, is he unsettled? What does he earn managing the City? Has he been let down badly recently by our owners? Realised he's made a big mistake with Clarke? Is he just curious as to what a mid range Championship club can offer? Does he know something as regards them coonts SISU and their short/long term plans?

It'll serve Robins right if Huddersfield get relegated and you get promoted (ps, I'm in 'peace' but I'm not a Hudders fan so I hope you'll forgive me commenting!)

Shameful way to treat the club that gave him his return to management after 2 years. Seems he has form for it too. That would worry me if I were the Huddersfield board, but I doubt they care. If it's true that he's cleared his desk then they should be done for an illegal approach too, as there is no way he would have done this without having another job lined up.
