2024/25 League 1 Champs?

You’re a fucking idiot mate, it’s an open discussion about a game we’re all watching, if I have an opinion I’ll say it. When I’m sat there watching a few rows away from them at the Ricoh it’s a different story, but I don’t think Jack Rudoni would know much about bukayosakamoto on sky blues talk suggesting Torp should come on for him at half time.

well ironically you’re arguing your own point - an open forum where my opinion is you massively overreacted and panicked with more than half the game to go (and it’s a good job you’re not the manager…you’re clearly clueless) but you call me an idiot for sharing that opinion, yet in the same breath argue that’s what a forum is for?

who is the real ‘idiot’ here? 🤔

Fucking enormous win. Statement win. Putting a few demons to bed with COH and Hamer. Coming back from a goal down at a tough away game. Shoring up and doing what we needed to near the end. Dealing with a physical side.

Omg it's happening, it's actually happening, wtf do I do
You renew your season ticket and book a nice holiday abroad during the play offs.

Probably running on a few minutes of sleep and about to head out to work. I'm exhausted, it's going to be a long day.

The Hawthorns and Bramall Lane are two grounds you historically just feel you are going to be lucky to walk away with one point, and we've just picked up three points from both.

Keeping my feet firmly on the ground, as I know what this division is like, but it's difficult not to get a bit excited. Yesterday felt big.

Brilliant result last night, away at Brammal lane is never an easy game and our recent record is a bit pants there, but another much needed three points.

Plenty of rest needed ahead of Saturday, with another big game on the horizon.

7 more wins will do it from here.

That save from that offside attempt was unbelievable. I keep saying it but he should be our first summer signing.

I forgot about that tbh as it was offside, but yeah it was great! Pretty much the only non-routine save he had to make though.

However, his handling was superb, catches everything and I never feel worried with him in there. Just fills me with confidence. Some big claims near the end of the game as well.

When was the last time we win there ?

Apologies to the nice fella from Lincoln, and his two kids, who I said I would back to the station with. Somehow conspired to make a simple 15-minute walk into a 45-minute slog with multiple wrong-turns, passing through some less than salubrious parts of Sheffield. In the rain.

Hey, it would have been worse if we had lost!

What a huge night that was, far from some of the free flowing football we produced back in the autumn, but the lads showed the sort of resilience many (including myself) doubted that group had by coming back from going a goal down. Winning ugly at this time of the season away from
home is exactly what champions do.

On a side note, I think that was my 5th visit to Bramall Lane & the atmosphere gets worse every time. The locals were not happy on the walk back to the car last night.

Tananga caught him on the head with his studs at the end then started gobbing off when BTA called him on it

Not worth getting a red card after the whistle and suspended again though is it. He’s already been banned for lashing out, you would have thought he would have learned his lesson. EMC was wrestling him away being like bro chill out and enjoy the win with the crowd

Fantastic result. In football speak ‘I’m over the moon’ this morning. Defending was incredible. Everyone put their body on the line; tackles, headers away, holding shape, supporting each other, blocking everything. It was most impressive at one point in first half when during one Sheffield attack I think we made four goal bound blocks one after another. Lati has been a revelation last few games…just wait till he has Vik in his pocket next season

Not sure where you parked. We parked in the Waitrose. Spoke to a few Blades' walking back afterwards and they were complimentary but all said they were the better side, but we were more clinical and maybe "wanted" it more.

They also slagged off Wilder. Called him a dinosaur.

Just checked 11v11 & you're right, 2012/13 season 👍
I was there I think, but been there so many times that all games sort of blend into one now 😂

Hope that Roy from the Sheff U forum is skimming this thread prepping his view from Coventry post whilst crying into his greasy chip butty - Cheers boys, 2-1 to the feeder club! But at least you’ve got O’Hare
I have just checked their forum and seen he has shat it from doing one...

What a shame and what a sore loser

Oh dear poor old Roy is to tired to do a post match review on the blaades forum after giving it the bigun before the game.
To tired or just salty tears and picking his lip up off the floor ? 😂😂

No View From unfortunately as it's taken me ages to get home and I'm working tomorrow. Don't get me wrong, if we'd won I'd have stayed up to do it but it feels a good way to use my final free hit of the season. I give myself 3 free hits a season and I've missed 5 this season but I was on holiday for 2 of them so they dont count. The 3 I've purposely missed are Ipswich, Southampton and Coventry. No idea why I'm telling you this to be honest

I bet Boro feel absolutely rank rotten, even after we beat them they would have expected us not to take maximum points from two away games and they would at least beat one of Oxford or Leics

That result for us last night will really hurt them ahead of a tough assignment at Blues on Monday Eve
