Must admit, the Legends Day thing makes me smile each year...

Those sky blue 'legends' Howard Clark, Cian Harries and Stuart Giddings among others :)

Stuart Giddings would have been a great player, I reckon. Injury did for him. Like Lee Hurst.

Ex (with some not very good ones) Players Day doesn't have quite the same ring as Legends Day does it.

I wonder if the legend Bill Teds will turn up again this year?

I'm sure he was called up to England U'21 while with us. Maybe even got a game or 2?

Really rated him for a LB.
Him and Andy Whing as our full backs, Callum Davenport in CB and Chris Kirkland in goal could have been a great Defense of academy players!

Every season this bloke loves to put a post on about us and copy comments from here to stir up hatred.
He needs to spend a bit more time worrying about his own shit club and their plight especially the financial issues that they will be in next season when the dont go up

Rushworth
MvE-Thomas-Lati-Dasilva
Onyeka-Grimes
Saka-Eccles-BTA
Wright

Think a bit of rotation is needed in a 3 game week, especially EMC - Eccles & BTA bring fresh energy to the press
Agree with all of that, but I would play BTA on the right and rest Saka instead. I could see him getting kicked in the air tomorrow, but a 30 minute cameo at the end could be vital

Results tonight will set my mood and attitude for 24hrs time, I hate calling games a 'free hit' when you are top of the League and chasing promotion, but if results were to go our way tonight you can't help but get the feeling that it is less vital we go there and get a result tomorrow

I just hope regardless of the result it is a professional performance and the game passes with no major flashpoints, we know what Wilder's sides are like they are going to be in our faces, trying to stifle us and I can't help but have the thought in the back of my head of one of our big hitters getting crocked by one of their cloggers or Bobby/Lati/Kitch biting to an off the ball incident and getting themselves sent off

I dont forget alot when it comes to other fans talking shit about us , when we went down i distinctly remember one of their fans somewhere saying

" we will never play you again "

I dislike sheffield united fans tbh , weirdly i really like chris wilder
Wilder is primarily a Blades fan and is a vile man.

Can’t believe after all these years of nurturing my son and grandsons into City fans, and loving the Sky Blues, I’m uttering, through gritted teeth and sickly feeling in my gut, the words……………………………… Come on ,Lesta

Esse for Saka and Kitching for Lati for this game I feel. Saka will get bullied if he plays and Kitching wont take any nonsense

Sheff Utd were the same under Warnock, also a fan. There is always an added layer of emotion involved with them and their styles are similar in some ways.
The irony is Warnock and Wilder hate eachother

Warnock at least, and I can't put my finger on what it is had something likeable about him - If Wilder never managed another game after tomorrow night no one other than Sheff U fans would notice or care

Hard to drop Lati though, he has been solid. I also think Saka could give them a bit of a run-around. Start him and wear them out and bring on Esse later again.

Warnock's actually a character though and always has been.

Wilder has zero personality and constantly just comes across as angry and bitter, with a massive chip on his shoulder.

You can tell he's as much of a prick in the dugout as he is in his personal life.

They do it for every club.
