Mandleson has to be the sleeziest and most corrupt politician this century. I actually think this may be a nail in Starmers coffin

It seems he was giving Epstein tips about intended Government action while he was deFacto Deputy PM ahead of release to the public.
Surely that constitutes a criminal offence? I would love it if that c**t to goes to prison.

It kind has set the template for how he’s governed. Got a feeling that the worst is still to come out and ultimately it will bring Starmer down, especially if he starts doing a Boris and starts lying about what he did and didn’t know in parliament.
Mandelson could well end up being to Starmer what Chris Pincher was to Boris

Me too. If half of what's been shown so far is true, Mandelson should end up in jail.

Just checking though - I'm sure you equally abhor those elsewhere who use public office for personal profit, no?

I abhor corruption and cronyism but as we see from the Epstein files it is rampant.

Brown, Blair, Farage, Boris, Khan and Mandy are the most mentions I'm seeing of UK politicians.

I think this is only an interim release and there is a lot more to come out.

There so much very disturbing material about prostitutes, human trafficking and child abuse too, shocking stuff.

Bernie Sanders has even got a mention…once, by someone saying how much they dislike him.

Yeah, I mean at this point there are millions of bits of information to go through. I have seen some abhorrent stuff, but also a lot of attempts to smear people who are named without there being any obvious foul play. It is hard to know what is true, and what isn't. I do hope anyone that has been involved gets punished accordingly.

Well the guiltiest, most corrupt man of them all is going to be immune from punishment.

If he's involved he will get his dues, although that might be after his reign is over.

Let's not forget how many people are involved here. I don't want to see any of them slip through the net.
He won’t ESB, he’s avoided justice for an awful lot already and will avoid it for the crimes he’s committed in his current presidency. People like Mandelson and Andrew will get hung out to dry, but I imagine justice will only be served on expendable or otherwise politically convenient people. Bill Clinton another one.

Trump however is at the top of the list but will not see punishment, because his mates are probably purging all of the files as we speak.

At this point there is a fairly high chance he won't be alive by then
Like Savile it will probably all come out after he dies, it will be those who knew about it and did nothing that will have to answer for it.

If he knew any of what has now come out and chose to use him he has to

It’s a shocking lack of judgement - if this was Boris Johnson you’d be demanding his head - at least be honest.

He was banking on you saying Starmer should stay regardless.

No he gave an answer that gave him a get out - there should be no get out. Mandleson has always been associated with sleaze and corruption- he’s known to have defended Epstein when he raped a 14 year old girl - if this was a Tory prime minister the reaction would be very different
