Yep, Thomas and Kitchen are the definition of when they are good, they are very good, but when they are bad...

I agree 3 would be near perfect, for me 4 would be the best as a striker who can play well not just scoring in patches would also be ideal. (Again I know it isn't happening)
I think in Thomas's case it could be inflated ego or simply that the club keep floating the idea that he's worth such and such valuation.he won't be soon.

Can I pivot to needing two centre backs?

Live long enough and you end up with shmmeee’s opinions eventually.

Next time guys just get on at the ground floor.

This is on the manager though.

Until he can get in the players that suit the system he wants to play, he has to tailor the system to our players' strengths and weaknesses.

Dasilva's what he is; he's not going to grow or find pace, so you have to work within those confines. Asking a player to play in a way that exposes his weaknesses is on the manager, not the player.
Yeah, not saying it's the player..I am saying if we play the way we are trying to play, Dasilva isn't the right one for that remit. He's pretty good going forward, but gets caught out when we lose possession and he is scrambling to get back

Lati is the best ball playing centre back at the club is one that I will never see personally.

Let’s not mention some of the others, but I’ll allow you this one 😉

Was thinking about Woolf and came to the realisation I think part of the issue with how tired we are, is that Lampard doesn’t rotate. We’ve used the least amount of players bar Wednesday who are playing the kids.

We could have played KKH and Woolf for a couple of games but I think we’ve ran some players into the ground especially with how intense we used to play. Even Grimes could of been subed off for a couple of games.

I liked Woolf at Ipswich. Concerned Whats going on as Thomas and Kitching aren't in any form atm and he can’t get in
Thing is, when it was going well he did take players off at 55-65 mins. It was something MR never did and it infuriated me. The infamous game for me was when we were 3-0 in that first season back at ht and I think he made one sub on 88 ans then said after the squad are dead on their feet due to the amount of games.

Anyways back to FL he did make those changes when we were winning. But now its not going well hes reverting to blindly using the same 11 ans praying something comes off

Whys he never gone two up?
Whys he not gone 3 at the back and wing backs
Why did he put esse on lw yesterday when hes been dynamite at RW.

He needs to take a step back, and come back in and evaluate. If this was an office job he'd take a week of annual leave, get away, come back and suddenly see the bigger picture

Right - get this back on track
Transfer thread, not who should play where.

@Saddlebrains
@Jimmy87

Inputs please. (Plus anyone who may have decent information)

Get us back on track.- 30 or so hours to go to possibly save our season.
We’ve had a month to sort out what’s been the problem for 2 seasons, we’re not fixing it in 2 days, we need to sort it with the players we’ve got somehow, don‘t think we’ll be getting anyone else in,

I think FL can forget about being linked with Crystal Palace job maybe Port Vale more like.

Really impressed for England under Lee Carsley, really surprised we would not be in for a player of his calibre who is happy to move to the Midlands. He will 100% be a championship player next season with Wolves, which is not a given with us.
It’s a loan so won’t matter what f wolves go down he is using it as a shop window for other prem clubs.

That makes no sense. should they want to sign him they will. that’s the point of the deal
Only if he agrees to sign and he won’t, he wants game time to get a better move in the summer the option is with the club not necessarily the player.

He’s to small for us anyway we need a physical player for enough little players
