Highlights since we last won there:

Watching them pass straight back past us after sending them down to L1

Selling Maddison not to Spurs for £7m , but to them for £3.5m and the loan back of his less talented twin.

Getting our first glimpse of the Mowbray/Slade dream team in a pre season friendly humping at Carrow Road.

Getting a second glimpse in a 6-1 thrashing at Carrow Road to their kids and reserves. 'Oh well, that's wasn't your first team was it? Oh...'.

Missing out on a last minute Biamou equaliser due to lockdown.

Giving it loads to the Barclay End after Fadz's screamer, only for Gavin Fucking Ward to rule it out half an hour later.

Finding a way to lose when a goal up with 30 min to play (cheers Kitch).

Finding a way to lose when a goal up with 30 seconds to play (cheers Lats and BTA).

Only drawing despite having 942 shots on goal, and their team doing a performance art recreation of the first day of the Battle of the Somme for the whole game.

MUST WIN

Given our recent form against Norwich and their vast improvement under Clement I have a really bad feeling about this.
Last season when we were minutes away from winning and conceded 2 goals in injury time was a killer.
If we're to get anything from this we need a performance like a few months ago when we were just ripping teams to shreds.
I think Boro will beat Preston who are in awful form but Sheffield United could trouble Ipswich.
It's not must win and a point would be ok given our goal difference we'd theoretically still be 4 points clear of Boro but it's getting tight now and reinforcements centrally and ideally left back are needed sharpish. There has to be cover for Grimes but it has to be someone with the same or better qualities and is hardworking and robust. I feel without additions in these areas we will eventually fall away.

We're nearly at full strength for the first time since about September with also the addition of Esse who is a class player. We just need to get minutes in for a couple of players. That’s been the difference of 1 point in 3 games then 6 points in 2 games.

We will have too much for them but we also did in the last game. They should have some confidence after their recent run and are at home so I can't see them parking the bus and time wasting for most of the game. It's time to remind everyone how good we are going forward. A minimum draw for me. Would say win but it's Norwich 🙄

You missed 'Sammy Clingan, it could have been you'

They absolutely tore him to shreds that day, poor bloke looked on the verge of tears

Not a chance this is an easy win. Hope I am wrong..watched them against Wrexham, they were excellent on the break. If we are as open as the last 2 games, we'll need a repeat of Boxing day 1977. 5 v 4
I think that we are all put on this earth with a higher purpose.

Mine is to educate the world that the 5-4 against Norwich was NOT ON BOXING DAY!!!

Please repeat after me - it was played in December 27th having played at Villa the previous day (which was Boxing Day).

Same as our other famous boxing day victory, the 4-3 v Spurs.
Despite attending both games I have only become aware of the actual dates they took place in the last couple of years.

According to an article on bbc Sargeant has fallen out with Norwich and has played his last game. Wants to go back to North America. Would be good if true.
Been rumbling on since he refused to play in the Fa Cup 3rd round. Unfortunately that Makama kid has picked up the mantle in terms of goalscoring. Still glad Sargent isn't playing.

Not Boxing Day, we played that match on 27 December 1986. We played QPR away on Boxing Day, and lost 3-1. Micky Gynn scored for us.

The match versus Spurs was astonishing though. The crowd reaction when Regis got the winner was remarkable.

Yeah, I know it wasn't boxing day, read my reply in context! But you're right, it was astonishing.
In that seasons fixture at WHL we hit the bar late on and Regis headed the rebound over, as he went to head it in the 4-3 game I though not again, but fortunately this time it went in!

Makama is a unit and did really well when he came on against us earlier in the season. We're going to have to be physically very strong to deal with him. Nothing against Lati, but it's important that Thomas and his extra height are back in the side for this one.

Clingons finest moment not - we got a penalty to get back level with someone - he stepped up and moved 90 degrees from the ball so no forward run up and scuffed the fecker left of the post - 💩
