It might save them from themselves, the idiots need to stop pissing money up the wall. They simply aren't going to get promoted in the time scale that bald prick thought and FFP will brutalise them.
It's pretty amusing they saw what we were doing and just tried to muscle in on it though. Guess our recruitment can't be that shabby.

Well ours has been significantly more successful than theirs so i guess their recruitment team are going to be like flies around shit looking at what we are doing trying to save their asses from the wrath of Wagner.

Grimes is the tough one. We don't have like for like. Esse would be perfect for the Torp role though.
This is where I think we'll be spending a fair amount of money if we do at all. Grimes is so important to how we play and has looked jaded in his last few appearances.

Thats the medical issue. He's had a hip replacement and requested a stair lift be fitted at the training ground.
'Where's this little whore of yours hanging out tonight then?'

'She's working at an under 18s disco so unfortunately you can't get in'

'Abdoulie could go, he's 17'

'What, you're 17?'

'Yeah I just look older'

'There's looking older then there's that, you look about 30!'

'Maybe Abdoulie will pull her'

If I had a penny for every deal with Manneh has broken down, I’d have three pennys which isn’t a lot but odd it’s happened three times

Something a bit amiss with this fella, that is a few clubs now he supposedly been a shoe-in to sign for and hasn't

Sounds like we have dodged a bit of a bullet/faff personally and glad we have opted for Esse, a proven pedigree at this level albeit only on loan

I would say we have been found out. Grimes hasn't had his normal time on the ball. That's why our new signings are important. Our opponents haven't had BTA running at them so our next biggest threat has been Grimes. But more free running players will change their focus again.

He's usually very good even when players double up on him, but he's genuinely looked knackered despite some saying he's virtually indestructible.

I thought the same but didn’t know how it would go down on here. Looks closer to 30.

I think even older than that to be fair.

The thing is, this is a guy that scored 7 goals in the Allsvenskan, mostly in fixtures against crap teams. Of course he could develop into a really good player, but based on these stats alone it would be a gamble rather than a sure start player to help get us up.

Made no sense for him to do it as a timewasting ploy when it left us with 9 players against 11 for a bit, it looked genuine.
Agreed. I was genuinely concerned when it happened but he seems to been able to play in matches straight after, although he doesn't look as effective as he once was. He doesn't look injured though

He has looked noticeably below par compared to his usual standards I think.

I think that's due to the players in front of him. Grimes is mostly a 2 touch player, control and pass. Rudi tends to come short either left or right which makes him ineffective, Torpe and BTA drop but both don't tend not to stray outside of the edges of the penalty box unless we are forming a passing motion to attack. Teams will not double up on Grimes when those two are back or they will be overwhelmed in midfield like the start of the season. I expect a lot of narrow games for the rest of the season as especially here teams will sit in, we will possibly pick more points up on the road going forward as teams will be more likely to play for a result.

Apparently the Manneh to Blues deal has fell through before he’s even completed his medical, probably the agent asking for more money, going to ruin the players reputation.

Dodge a bullet with that one if that's true, he'll never move onto a bigger club in a better league if that's the way he and his agent carey kn

At what point does a player get to axe their agent? Either the player is hiding something or his agent is an absolute liability and ruining his reputation.
