For the first time (and last) for the Ipswich Game I didn’t attend the game (first hone missed for years) and I had no ability to see or hear about it either.

My only access was this site. My word, what a soul destroying experience this was. If you’d been beamed down from another planet you’d wonder what was going on. You’d think people are being persecuted and watching a team that’s caused trauma to its viewers.

One thing is for certain. Many will turn on Lampard very quickly and are itching to bring the “elite tactician” headline back. He’d certainly be wise to move if we go up as the screaming to sack him will arrive quickly,

The constant obsession with referee bias is just a turn off. The irony is that most don’t want VAR but the Wright incident may have given the penalty but at full speed many referees would have let it go.

Ipswich will catch us up by end of January, it’s great while it was happening, we need a better manager with greater tactical awareness (than the manager who has the best record in our history), our best striker is shite blah blah

Posters need to reflect. We’ve lost 3 games, we are the team to fear, we have the most successful manager in our history and for me personally it’s the second best season of games I’ve witnessed.

Im not sending out an SOS to kill me but k would if I had to trawl through that again - fortunately I won’t have to

Grendel telling people to be positive when talking about our matches, hell is to freeze over next!

Where have I been negative this season?

He was first to doom monger under Robins if we lost a game.

At least I haven’t had to resort to pretending I was female to avoid mockery - wow that’s a low for you surely?

If this forum does reflect the fanbase then I really fear for peoples mental health should we either go up...or not go up. Lampard doing an amazing job and we are very lucky to have him. Can we not just get behind this team and the individuals and back them through thick and thin. Is this the new fans that have recently joined the party, fans that have been away and have only returned recently, fans that recall the premier league days and want to relive that time gain?? I don't know...but far too many have had a meltdown after Ipswich.

It was 1st against 3rd, we could have opened up a 16 point gap to them, it was the way we lost that was hard to take, Ipswich are good but we made them look like prime Barcelona,

Come on mate, you started a taxi for Robins thread a few months after his return.

Not that I'm justifying anyone that does turn on Lampard, that would be madness.

Swansea and Ipswich were my first games since Norwich in September. I was appalled how entitled the supporters around me were. Moaning that we were only 1-0 up against Swansea, shouting for Lampard to "sort it out", not to mention the ridiculous abuse Wright got for not pressing the keeper...I couldn't believe what I was hearing. You'd never know we're top of the league, 10 points off 3rd. Some of our newer "fans" need to take a long hard look at themselves.

First of all I agree with your post. Second you must have missed the game due to a lobotomy - and thankfully it seems to have been a success. Good news for everyone. Never thought I’d see this day.

If I cant get to, or watch a game, this site is way ahead of BBC sport, and much better to check on what's going on live.
Its also better for positivity/negativity/madness/delusion/camaraderie/arguments**

**Take your pick
Yeah I suppose it’s about if you want emotional updates or objective ones 🤣🤣🤣

1/3 still to win the league, 9/2 Ipswich, 9/1 Boro and 50/1 bar the 3. Are you laying any bets please at more favourable odds on us being champions?

Not had enough attention so far this season?!

In all seriousness you’re right on the reflection piece, how strong we are this year and the over reactions. Albeit in fairness the match threads are always more reactionary as football is emotive and it’s in the moment.

Unnecessary negativity against an extremely talented coach getting us to consistently perform would be unfathomable and stupid, I agree.

Let's hope for a lack of taxi threads should we get a few negative results, eh.

I lost my shit a bit at the Ipswich game. Not with Frank or the players but with the ref.
I was saying lots of rude words really rather loudly. I will do this from time-to-time.
I think the occasion got to me…and it’s what I’ve always done/been brought up with at games.
I maintain, in the cold light of day, that the ref was indeed a “twat”.

However, I like to think I continued cheering us on until the end. Any criticism (I’m looking at you Miguel Brau) was saved for quieter conversations with those around me and typing on the internet ie here after the game.

Can’t say that I’ve noticed too much entitlement - although the amount of people regularly leaving early seems to have increased, which may be a sign of this?
I did hear a lot of people complaining about the lack of pressing…daft.

Things do seem a bit quieter than previously but I think there’s another thread that addresses this.
