Bout bloody time
The time it takes for these to get set up really does my head in. How hard can it be to get it done. A few seconds after the end of the previous game is plenty of time!!

Only joking!! Lol

Be nice to put on a show for the big crowd! Not sure I can get to go as lad back from uni and I’m gonna give him my ticket

Great opportunity for 50 points at half way

Going to be question of who’s fit by sounds of it. Heard directly there’s number of those who played yesterday “struggling”

imagine we won’t train all week and may come in Xmas Eve/day for roll call. 🥴

Be nice to meet an opposition team who are ravaged by flu, instead of us! Hopefully the club have plentiful supplies of lemsip, or whatever else elite sporting institutions use these days.

Think we will win. Suspect pretty much same team as today but with Bidwell at LB and change him to LCB in a back 3 and bring Brau on at LB if it starts going Pete Tong

Hard to pick a team without knowing who's going to be avaliable. Whoever is ready to play, the good news is that we've seen yesterday that a few of the players who have not been playing are up for the fight.

Should be a good one.

Easiest game since November against Charlton. Previous easiest was October.

They've won a few recently but against lower sides and all at home. The last time they picked up a point away from home was 1-1 against Charlton 1st November. Add to this the CBS has been a fortress this season.

It's nearly a week between games so you would hope our players will be over their illnesses and hope there's no new ones added to the list. But if given the choice a good time to play them when not fully back to strength and save the players for Ipswich.

Reading their forum, they seem confident due to their recent run of 3 wins in 4 games and our run of 1 win in 4. They have a few danger men in Galbraith, Vipotnik, Tymon and a new manager (Matos) that seems to be getting a tune out of them. Hope we are able to field more of our starters (Thomas, Kitching and Saka) for this one although our second stringers didn't do any harm to stake a claim for a place. Obviously someone needs to fill in at LB. This match could potentially see Rushworth, Grimes, Lati and Bidwell facing off against their former team. Their defender Cameron Burgess has scored 3 own goals this season and hope his generosity continues.

I wouldn't underestimate them and hope we can eke out a win considering form, fitness, injuries/illness and suspensions.

Torp and MVE visibly struggling - footage of MVE puking after our goal.

So hard to predict without knowing who isn't ill.

Brau did well but I'm not sure about a starter unless we play 5 at the back which I'm not sure he will at home.

I would normally expect us to win this one but, as others have said, the outbreak of 'flu in the squad is a major concern, especially if those who have it don't recover in time and we get more cases.

My other worry is the serious decline in scoring goals. Last month we scored 14 in 5 games (2.8 pg) whereas in December we have only scored 3 in 4 (0.75 pg) and have not scored more than one in any match. I'm sure a lot of this is due to BTA's injury and Haji's lean spell. I think it's time to reinstate Ellis as our starting striker. He did well in November and I'm surprised he was dropped.

If we are able to put out a reasonably strong team I'm going for 2-1 to us.

I think I agree with you. I've always been in the camp that Wright is the better player, but given the great effort from Simms in the last month, combined with Wright not really having the best return, I think it is only fair Simms gets the nod for this game.

As I didn't make it clear in my earlier post, I also think Haji is the better player although I believe that - given a decent run of games - Ellis has the greater potential to improve.

The strange thing there is if anything we’ve been creating more chances but the finishing has been more indecisive and sloppy.

The good thing I guess is we seem to have had the outbreak earlier than other clubs and no doubts they will catch it more than they won’t. So it won’t be just us with this problem. Let alone injuries with so many games coming up.

Maybe we should send our sick players around the country to spread some of that illness to level the playing field. Sharing is caring ;)

Do you think that's what inspired the end of game Mêlée?
There was on of their black contingent who was particularly aggressive)
Or just Frank making sure they'll come here shortly with something to prove.
Head's all wrong?
