It’s got to stop now. I am sure the morons won’t be on here,but as a fan base we have got to help stop it.
Happened again Saturday landed in row A , hit my mate on the shoulder and soaked his son. No one hurt but only a matter of time.
This time it was aimed directly at our own fans, and the coked up morons need weeding out.
The club owner has needed to warn us, wtf else is it going to take ?
Fines,points deductions eventual ground closure ?
Best start to a season ever and now this shit ! Pack the f***** in NOW.
Starting tonight,nearly 5,000 of us there lifting the roof off. So if the c**** start throwing things call em out, I am sure enough fans will back you up.

100% I’ve seen it twice this season at our own fans. derby away some dickhead threw a plastic pint half full that hit the bloke a couple of seats along from me. Also Millwall away in the league a hot dog was thrown from the upper tier to our fans below. Bad enough throwing things at other fans let alone our own. Both incidents were after we scored.

It does need to stop but I wouldn't class some of the ones at Boro in the same category though, some of the people there threw the bottles and vapes back after they were thrown at them. It was a heat of the moment thing. It's not the right thing to do but I'm sorry I just can't accept we were the problem at Boro.

I'm not excusing it btw, but I do think it's isolated.

It appears worse after Boro, but that wasn't in any way the fault of City fans and everything came from the Boro side. If something lands are you supposed to neatly stack it by your feet and say that's ok, keep throwing at us we're fine with it? It's inevitable and almost a justified action to return it. Unfortunately you're not likely to hit the perpetrator more probable an innocent bystander, but I defy anyone to take it and not retaliate.

Tbf I've never done it and never been hit by one, but I think more of an automatic reaction. I know its not right, but most at away games are at least a couple of beers deep and whilst you might regret it after, I just think it would take huge restraint to be hit by an object and not immediately return it without thinking.

I don't think a lot of the people who threw stuff even really realise what they were doing, some bottle were caught and immediately returned. Not right but it's kind of an automatic angry reaction that can happen.

Get your point entirely Rob, you would need to have great restraint not to throw some back if dozens were coming over like at Middlesbrough.
But after a warning off the chairman,to hoik a bottle straight into your own fans is a thing to do and should be called out.

There are isolated incidents but on the whole our support both home and away this season is the best I think I've ever seen it.

Anyone throwing things will get caught very easily and they'll get a 3 year ban.

It's since the world cup in 2018 (I think) could have been the euros in 2021. People think that throwing your beer up in the air after a goal is the epitome of 'limbs' and 'great support' but essentially like many have said... It's actually jeopardising our support and potentially our club too.

I am as passionate as the next person but I'm also a fully grown adult who has control of my own arms. It is like fans become toddlers when we score and lose all ability to control their limbs.

Anyway, not even an old man rant as I am thirty but my rant is over none the less.

I agree, one concern is that it will become the norm for us to be on the receiving end of this kind of thing if we are sanctioned for irrational behavior of any group of fans. Just wondering? How do you think we should deal with this if there is a risk of being tarred with the same brush/ conflict happens?

The police actually getting involved when it's occurring and nicking a few people might help rather than standing watching.
