Today SkyBluesTalk is morally *spins wheel* against state intervention in football clubs.

Definitely against state intervention on behalf of foreign multi-millionaires during a supposed budget squeeze! Why wouldn’t we be?

Something something community asset. What day is it and I’ll let you know.

Leicester's troubles extend from the dugout all the way to lawyers' chambers.

Charges for allegedly breaching spending rules, when they were promoted as Championship title winners two seasons ago, has them locked in a legal battle with the Premier League.

If found guilty, the English Football League could hit the Foxes with a points deduction.

It is a case reportedly being heard now,, external not that the club or football authorities have acknowledged it publicly.

More points deducted to SW. It’s the correct rules I guess but seems unnecessary

It probably makes little difference, as they were almost certainly doomed anyway.

I guess it is important to dish out the sanctions in a fair and consistent manner, even if it does sound a bit like kicking a man when he is down.

We wouldn't object if it was Leicester, would we? 😆

Just send them to the national league

Well no but I always think we’ve cheated the system more than any club over the years and can’t really bring myself to be too critical of others - Wednesday haven’t paid key creditors so I get that - are we worse than Leicester for gaming the rules under Sisu - I’d say so

I don't think we vastly overspent, beyond what was allowed, so I don't see how we are comparable to Leicester. We did have the administrations but, like Sheffield Wednesday, we paid the price and didn't try and wriggle out of the sanctions the way Leicester did.

There were, however, a number of things that Sisu did - such as trying to bankrupt the owner of the stadium with a view to buying it on the cheap - that I certainly didn't approve of.

If Watford lose tonight any team from 14th downward will be 19 points behind us at least .That is 6 wins and a draw with our GD that makes it 7 and none of them have more than 6 wins so far this season.
Such is our superiority.
Call me an idiot but i can still see them getting a draw out of this

Brum’s away form is holding them back from being a proper force to be reckoned with

That being said they look a different beast at home - I would go as far as saying that Saturday, and our trip to St Ands in Jan is a toss up for our toughest remaining fixture
