Absolute shite to only bring 1 player in, then just to make it worse i popped CWR in and bloody Lorna Bailey is back on. Time to turn everything off.

He's tried for 3 and failed for whatever reason. People won't be happy though because they'd rather we go out and overpay for a player.
We've had all summer to get a wide player to provide competitions to emc and sakamoto and could have loaned in a replacement for Sheaf fairly simply

Don't care what turner says, not a chance we sanction a move for Bassette and Obikwu without having a new forward nailed on, we must have.

Centre mid I don't mind, Allen, Eccles and Andrews is enough cover until January. Obviously a CB is an absolute must.

We still have a good team, but it's a poor transfer window and I don't think we can say Lampards been 'backed'. Losing Sheaf looks poor if we don't have a replacement ready, every other club seems to hold out for the replacement to be lined up except for us!

And then you risk bringing in players to sit on the bench.

If you have a bottomless pit of money, you can do that.

I expect an apology from David, Cameron, Bali and all those others who said we were being bed wetters in July and to wait for the end of the window. Well the end of the windows here and we have completely fucked it up.

At least Bling ends the window with a positive net spend so he can fund another skiing holiday.
I dont think David Cameron is going to come on here and apologise tbf.

Robins was really well backed by King every window. Even Frank was allowed to bring in Grimes in Jan but this feels a bit underwhelming for Franks first summer, I thought he would be allowed more and just a couple more could have made a big difference.
I actually still think we'll be up there but that's VERY dependent on injuries.

I felt we needed 2 or 3 before we let Binks go, to loose Binks, Bassette on loan, and Sheaf and then only bring one in leaves us a bit light in my opinion, and we’ve struggled with depth for the last few seasons
Binks and Bassette were not good enough. Sicknote Sheaf doesn't fit into this side with Grimes.

We've brought in better players than we've lost. But another forward thinking midfielder would be a big bonus.

Dean Austin needs to fuck off the fraud, king needs to be questioned to it’s a fucking joke

People say bedwetting etc but it’s a complete balls up.

The way our recruitment department operates needs to be looked at. We lost Hamer last day of the window, didn’t replace. We fucked about with Stamenic and had no back up plan. We’ve sold Binks weeks ago and have only just replaced. Sheaf isn’t going to be replaced in time leaving us light in CM.

‘Act like a big club’ but it’s all amateurish for me. Potentially missed a big opportunity to push for autos with how weak some teams are this year.

Meh.

Will it still be considered "Robins team" as well?

It’s a shambles if we only sign one player. Fucked around all summer trying to lowball other teams into selling to us and it’s going to bite us on the arse

Bassette and Obikwu aren't even close to the side. Bassette couldn't even get a spot on the bench in a League Cup game!

Someone's got to sit on the bench unfortunately, if they are great you may end up putting EMC on the bench. Is it ideal having £5 million pound player on the bench, no but we are really light in the wide forward areas.

We play with 1 striker....so Wright/Simms/Asante should be enough really. The 4th choice would never get game time.

No, we just didn't want to overpay for players like Hughes 🤣
We were after him all summer, had four bids rejected thinking we could lowball Hull. We have sold Sheaf on deadline day and not replaced. We have to put centre forwards on the wing because we have no depth on the wing

I'm actually alright with the squad the amount of grandstanding on here cause we haven't spunked cash over people who won't improve the squad is ridiculous.
So you dont think we could have signed players who are better than Raphael, Bidwell, Allen and Andrews.
