70m people in the UK - if this meeting of minds in Treacle represents the majority we may as well turn the lights off

Just an embarrassment to their town. So hard done to cause they didn’t bother to work at school and are now out of work and feeling like victims of everyone who is working hard to make their lives better when of they / we are victims it’s victims of being born in one of the most free most opportunistic safe and supportive countries on the planet

Well yeah, I can read what’s written on their signs - can you not?

So what motivated them to appear in a town where a girl was raped by two asylum seekers? I can read oddly enough but they don’t seem to have read the room well.

Did they think they’d get a round of applause?

Do you know all these people?

They were peaceful and just there to express themselves, didn’t commit any crime or express support for criminals either. You don’t have to agree with it to justify their right to peacefully assemble.

Embarrassing post. You'd be all over these like a rash if they came to congregation or ended up in prison so you could help them. Huge assumptions from someone who supposed to care. Once again showing you're actually as bad as those you treat with disdain.

I don't get the "party" stuff though. Maybe it's a protest thing I don't get.

I just can't ever imagine texting my mate or getting a text like "you seen that poor girl in Nuneaton?" "We need to do something about it" "shall I bring the beers and the tunes?".

Although I get it wasn't a riot and seemed peaceful I just don't get the "it's like a party" when you think of why they were there.

Although the ones with the signs and "counter protests", what's that all about? Clearly very strange people. The fella dressed as a vicar. 🤣 What did they expect? Why do they wear COVID face masks outside?

Why are they assembling there if they don’t want a response?

Course I would
What’s the assumption here? That young loud mouthed white blokes were the vast majority of those protesting against immigration in this country getting out of hand?
Yep of course I’m as bad as them trying to bring up a family work hard so I can have opportunity and speak up for those who can’t speak for themselves
Yep just as bad completely agree

There's a few on here that are constantly sneering down their nose at those they deem below them. mmttww is another.

The irony is most of the people on here who whine about life not being fair, you would describe them as very much on the left.

Anybody I know who you would class as on the right and didn't do well at school all graft. You would be surprised at how well people do.

I'm shocked that how far from detached from the real world some people are on here.

It's ironic really because everybody whinging about life not fair but then there's people who didn't finish school who are brick layers or scaffolders who probably earn twice as much.

My nephew(British Asian) went to the protest in Nuneaton. He says there was no trouble.

Not sure how many non white attended but he was one of them.

And why assemble where there has been an incident which has caused legitimate anger in a community?
From what I’ve seen it was one in a series of similar demonstrations across the country. People should be capable of expressing opposing views in the same place, and what was a much smaller group did so peacefully.

It isn’t what I’d have done but the principle should be upheld just as it should be for those on the other side.

Indeed. Including many on the right who see foreigners and migrants as beneath them and sneer down their nose at them.

I’m sorry if my words have suggested they are below me or below anyone
They are uniquely valuable which is why it’s more tragic to pick a fight with a group they have more in common with than those they are being goaded by

No I didn’t! If you’re going to quote me at least say what I said. Didn’t try hard at school and don’t have a job i think I said
We inherited the golden goose being born in the uk in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and probably the 2000’s and 2010’s. That’s my point

Didn't specifically say but safe to assume the rape of a 12 year old by asylum seeker and immigration in general
Ok. The first I would hope it would be abhorrent for any 12 year old to be kidnapped and raped by anyone. Where have people been? It’s not just started bloody hell! And immigration in general??? Ok

Many yep
I live and work and play amongst them we all do
Woe is me, my life isn’t all I wanted it to be despite being given the same as everyone and far more than most if not all the immigrants that have recently come to the uk.
instead of looking at what I or they can do to change what they don’t like they are goaded by rich manipulators and swindlers to believe their life would be better if the group they are being told to hate were removed.

Spell it out for me
If it’s child kidnap and rape - no shit sherlovk
If it’s immigration then ok we really are caught with change what you can and accept what you can’t and dancing with a Union flag isn’t gonna make too much difference neither is shouting pedo at people who disagree with you

She was raped by asylum seekers who were allowed to amble around in a community. It’s a fair assumption this wasn’t just bought on by coming to the Uk and they had these perverted desires before and in all probability acted on them.

It’s not acceptable they were allowed out in the community is it?
