Given that this and the attempt to buy Rushworth outright both seem to be fairly legit it’s clear there is still a decent pot to spend on the right players. Still sticking largely to the model of younger players who will gain value which i think is the right thing to do personally. Makes me wonder if there is truth in us being one of the clubs in for Kone, if we can offload a striker.

It’s absolutely nothing to do with being in club promotional videos. They’re obligated to do that.

It’s the fact he has posted it to his personal story 2 days before they play the team he would be signing for. Do you really think with all the knowledge around PR and media training there is nowadays, he would do that? Come on boys.

I just don’t think their manager would be going as strong as he has been, and risk pissing off the fans this early in his tenure, if it was likely to happen. I know people will say ‘well he’s not going to say he’s leaving’ but he also doesn’t haven’t say over and over again that he’s not being sold, he’s definitely staying etc. There is some level of middle ground between the two that it would be a lot easier to land in if he thought there was a chance he was going to leave.
