First time I’ve seen us this preseason and I thought we looked pretty decent with a few glaringly obvious issues.
It doesn’t really work anymore though, teams are too good at pressing. Game has moved on so frustrating how we persist at times.
Straight out car park A, bring back 11k crowds
Pretty optimistic for this season overall. I think continuity is a powerful thing in football and we’ve managed to keep together a side who were pretty good last season. Expecting us to finish top 6 again and looking forward to Hull.

I hope we can bring in a centre half and striker this week but still in a healthy place overall
Not sure Sheaf has put in a single impressive performance this preseason...
The defence is very worrying, and not just individual performances - the shape and organisation is all over the place.
Our strikers both scored and we had quite a few problems at the back, but everyone's convinced we need to keep signing strikers every season?
Get rid of Bassette by all means and spend the cash on someone who's Championship-ready, but how much money do people want us to keep spending on CFs?

Didn’t care is an understatement, I’ve celebrated farts with more enthusiasm
Striker is definitely the biggest concern. BTA got in some good positions but his finishing is woeful.
It’s clear we seem to be intent on spamming crosses in, particular from cut backs.
Aderby fan summed up Lampard that he would play loads of passing football and wait for Mount to do something special.

Do we think our goal keeping coach is the problem seems to destroy good keepers very quickly.
Think it was a good performance.
Second goal looks like Bidwell got dragged out of position. Hope the left sided CB comes in but overall controlled the game and without a moment of madness would of won.
Lots more direct balls through the middle which helped BTA get into some good positions.
Rapha looked good in his cameo and imo might be decent enough if we can’t get an option to back up the right wing.
Tldr good work out, need a left sided CB and a ST

What's he doing, telling the keepers to let the opposition have the ball whenever he gets pressed? Not sure that's something the keepers tend to rely on the coaches for tbh...
See I thought it was more through the middle today and not as cross heavy as normal
I think it's a tad early to say Rushworth has been destroyed.
I don't think that's the case at all, we're creating chances for Rudi not dependent on him
It's a pre season game not played at full pace. Let us see how we plat next week
