It might have been the Bury game I was at then. I was sure it was his debut though. Either way, even with all the dross we've had over the past couple of decades there's probably only a handful of players that have genuinely looked that lost on a football pitch and he's one of them.

For those older fans, I recall a loan player Tommy Langley playing for us in the early 80's, I think Bobby Gould was manager in his first stint.
