Looks like Preston are having a real go at being slightly less shit than less year.

Who do we fancy early to go down and go up?
I think Ipswich, Southampton, Bristol City, Us and a little curveball Swansea will be up there and if Leicester dont get a points deduction they will too.
Then to go down I reckon Preston, Wrexham, Charlton, QPR, Hull and Stoke could be at risk.
Its a bit early to say anything but at the moment thats what I reckon

One of the first teams to release their kit for next year and Stoke have already won the award for worst kit.

Unfair on Sheff Utd for promotion again. The bookies sometimes get it wrong (Luton last year) but there is a reason they make more money than they lose. We may be good at 10/1 (I saw quoted) depending on our recruitment.
I really hope Brum don't perform as well as the bookies predict.

I think they’ll lose some key players like Cooper, Hamer, Ahmedodzic, Burrows, Souza and have to do a rebuild so they’ll start slow so they could make playoffs but I reckon they’ll just fall short

Think Cooper and Burrows stay as their into their first year of contract but the rest I agree with.

They did show last year however how smart they are with their recruitment and look to follow it up with some good frees again (see Jimmy Dunne expected for one). I think they will be very strong next year and will be pushing top 2 or 3 again.

Yeah there that Rich they haven't even put a roof on a temporary stand that they've built.
They have taken down the temporary stand and are building a decent sized new kop stand designed by the same architects who designed the new Spurs ground. Their ground will be 3 sided for a year though like Oxfords. Wrexham are pretty flush with cash and are not going away. With Phil Parkinson as manager/tactician they are not getting anywhere near promotion in my view. They will spend biggish but sensibly though and in 3 years with a new manager will be top 6.

The basis of their recruitment initially was signing up out of contract , freebies and loan signings who were on high wages relative to the rest of the Championship which the majority of others couldn't afford. Jimmy Dunne most probably will be the same ( ie offered a wage he wouldn't receive at most clubs).
Don't underestimate Wilder's ability to overspend on badly judged signings.
I do agree that with the funds at their disposal that without doubt they have a major advantage over most.

Ryan Mason supposedly going to West Brom as new manager, I guess thats a bit underwhelming for their fans.

Their fans are fully expecting new owners this summer, would be funny if it doesn’t happen.
Once the business is in trouble the price drops, so expect protracted and difficult negotiations. Now where is Joy Seppala when you need her to strip down a loss making concern to the bones. 🤭

Looks like Norwich are about to poach Liam Manning the Bristol City manager.
