I think it's time.

I want to watch a team that have a clear style of play. I want to be able to see on the pitch what they have been working on in training.

Robins isn't a tactical coach. He never has been. That was literally Viveash's job. MR looks tired and bereft of ideas. At this point we're just recycling through old formations trying to find something that sticks. Wouldn't be surprised if he wacks out the box next even though we've got no one to play it.

Alex Ferguson wasn't the best tactician, his strength was man management.
That's why you work alongside someone who's strong in the areas you're not.

Pre-season saw us playing some very nice football. Because none of the games counted which is this team’s MO

Maybe we all don’t turn up for Luton and tell them it’s a friendly.

Can we claim another covid outbreak and the need for social distancing in the stands?

It is just 11 games , nobody with a brain gives a fuck about how the season petered out after a small squad were on the beach after hull

🤣 You might have a point if the players came back from the beach (if that's the excuse for the poor form then)

Imagine if we hadn’t scored those stoppage time goals at Wolves last season.

That Wembley visit is surely the only thing keeping MR in a job at this point.

Imagine if we'd got to the final and beat Man City we wouldnt be having this debate, but neither scenario happened so its pointless discussing it.

We can't sack a manager after every bad spell it's a ridiculous idea , if fans can behave like this towards a bloke who gave us so much success then how bad would they be with somebody that's done fuck all here

I'm genuinely appalled at how shitty some of our fans have been recently

I'll tell you what I find strange, people making out the posters who want Robins to stay are saying he's blameless when everyone of us has criticised him.

Yet the same posters it seems won't even consider the new coaching structure, recruitment policy and performance director could bear some responsibility.

They'd rather put it all on the man who has given us the last 7 years, it's fucking bizarre.

exactly

I haven’t seen one single person say he’s blameless but it’s a torrent of accusations that excuses are being made & Robins is being totally exonerated- neither of which are true.

I also haven’t seen one single person on the “gEt riD” bandwagon entertain the possibility that other things are at play- things which most likely would be exactly the same for any new manager coming in.

Not sure who is better to lead us than the guy who was a penalty kick from the prem or an fa cup semi final or 2 promotions or maybe even the 5 top 10 finishes in 7 years when I saw a massive 2 the 30 years prior 😂😂

I joke , sack the shit c**t and get somebody else in because these 11 games have taken me over the edge , fuck the 460 games before

I’d be interested to know.. bearing in mind what any new manager would walk into & inherit- forget about specific names- what qualities are everyone looking for in the new guy?

This poll should not exist. At this rate we will be calling for the managers head after 2 games next season. Can't wait to call everyone out who are calling for Robins to go when we are top six come April.

I am really not sure to be honest. The thought of us without Robins fills me with fear. But potentially being in a relegation battle with an expensively assembled squad is unacceptable. I want Robins to turn it around, but he looks lost at the moment and there’s only so many times you can do it before the wheels eventually fall off

Fuck, you really are deluded. Is it really necessary to point out that pre-season is a critical part of having a successful season. If Robins has had three months holiday perhaps that would explain why he still has no idea of our best starting 11.
I think he's referring to the players?

You could think of it as his compensation package I suppose, but that would be for a different structure.

Bloody hell, some on here talk about Robins like they're married to the bloke.

Without trying to sound like Boosh, in most cases it is coming from people that don't really watch the games, or are one step away emotionally. You can see it in their responses to certain games where we have played pretty pathetically and they try to act like we haven't.

I am definitely in the camp of keeping Robins until at least he has had some time in the winter transfer market to deal with the issues, but I can understand those that want him gone. Whilst he has credit in the bank, it is going to run out on the current trajectory pretty quickly.

Be a lot more bitter if they were

Something has to give eventually. We know the players are good enough looking at the performances against Wolves, Man utd and Spurs and it's obvious Robins has the final say on transfers and the new coaching setup.
A lot of people need to pull their socks up at the club though, mainly players and coaching staff. Basic errors on the pitch and in training it seems.

Buck stops with him unfortunately but it'd be a huge shame if MR goes thanks to the players having a poor attitude. That'd be unforgivable on their part.

if I bothered to partake in a poll about Robins, I would vote that he should stay. I don’t share your optimism about a top 6 finish, however. The way in which we handed control to a poor team last night, after scoring early, when we should have gained momentum and grabbed hold of the game by the scruff of the neck, shows how weak and short of confidence we are. I’m concerned that Simms’s scoring streak last season was a blip, which he won’t be able to replicate, and Wright is not just inconsistent, he just hasn’t really. played this season. Defensively, the sooner we get Bidwell back the better, our defensive left flank last night was weak. There’s very little creativity in our side at the moment, and anyone who still thinks we’re not missing O’Hare needs to have a word with themselves. Can Robins turn it around? Can the players I’ve been critical of start to show some good form? God I hope so, but at the moment it’s by no means a certainty. One thing I do know is that as supporters we have to stay with the team and management, and help to drag them through.

Loads of the Robins in camp are regular attendees.
Really not sure where you get that from.

Curiously when we have Novembers fan forum, can we present these to Doug King just so show how mental we are as a fan base for having three posts for the same question 🤣

I am not talking about just Robins in/out. I am talking about nonchalant reactions and dismissal of certain concerns which are overwhelmingly being repeated by the same handful of people that don't watch the football. This hasn't really got a lot to do with those that do.

I am in the Robins in camp anyway. At least until after January and he has had some time to sort it out with the transfer window.

I think the thing is at this point is that he’s tried so many different combinations of players, and has now even switched the formation yet none of it seems to have worked. I worry that he’s lost the confidence of the dressing room to turn this around and that’s pretty impossible to get past.
