Match Thread Bristol City (A) 24th August 12:30 KO

Good save but Dovin hurt. Armstrong went studs up.

I'll take that back.

[procdoc]

It’s a poor performance so far

We are just too passive

[Grendel]

Good save but Dovin hurt. Armstrong went studs up.

he really didn’t

[mark82]

Armstrong and the ref getting rightful abuse.

He had every right to go for that.

[mark82]

he really didn’t

See above.

[Covstar]

Lati easily outmuscled by Armstrong there and through 1 on 1 which is concerning. Thanks to Dovin with a good save!

[AFCCOVENTRY]

Don’t want to panic till window shuts but we’ve got a huge weakness in CM.

[ptr]

Rudoni needs to drop deeper so we can get on the ball.

[Jamesimus]

Latibeaudiere has been very good this half but he was weak there against Armstrong.

[procdoc]

Can’t get a grip in midfield and our passing is off

[Hobo]

Lati totally out muscled there. Brave from Dovin

[Jamesimus]

Rudoni needs to drop deeper so we can get on the ball.

This

[shmmeee]

He had every right to go for that.

Think the shin to the balls wasn’t entirely accidental TBF

[skybluecam]

Our midfield when a team actually attacks us

[Nantwich Skyblues]

Rudoni , Torp, Eccles too slow in everything they do and are not pressing, very similar to Stoke game

[stupot07]

We really have no control in midfield without Sheaf.

1 shot from distance

[lifeskyblue]

Midfield not strong enough. Bristol being allowed to walk through us

[Mr Panda]

Feel like shit just want Sheaf back

[Blind-Faith]

Thank the lord we have Dovin!

Torp too slow in possession and closing his man down. He needs to adjust to this league, clearly has the ability and technique for it

[procdoc]

This highlights the need for improvements in midfield

[mark82]

Why do we look so poor away from home?

[Northants Sky Blue]

Binks with the ball and no forward outlet - he's telling the midfield to drop and show for it

[shmmeee]

In all the focus on the midfield Bidwell is really poor today

[procdoc]

Get Rudoni back and play a flat three and get Saka and Wright narrower

[ptr]

Wilson still warming up.

[fernandopartridge]

Rudoni miles off O'Hare ball winning capability so far

[Deleted member 7943]

Why do we look so poor away from home?

Set up purposely to not concede and up the intensity later on in matches

[Skyblue_CP]

This is awful, our midfield is non existent. No press. no agression. They’ve just played 3 straight passes through the lines and got in.

[shmmeee]

This highlights the need for improvements in midfield

100% Desperately need reinforcements this week.

*so far this season

[Manchester_sky_blue]

We aren't using any other options either, we have the players to run the ball down the flanks and on to Simms but not doing that either

[RoysterE17]

Sheaf can't get back soon enough

[Macca]

We can't pin our hopes on 1 injury prone player. Invest soon or there will be no play off campaign this year

[Deleted member 7943]

Josh eccles is so poor at times

Any competent striker scores there
