Can't believe the lack of enthusiasm for this game - We are a win tonight and then a win against a side that, without sounding disrespectful - play at the same level as Tamworth away from the cup 1/4 final, I am well up for it I would be more gutted if we got beat tonight than I was Saturday

In my personal opinion will also put King off making any potential Maidstone game at a low price due to a poor takeup here at 15 quid🤷‍♂️
I think for most people it's having to watch yet another match Vs those cloggers. Throw a Norwich match in where their whole game plan was to kick or better players up in the air and most people are desperate to play an alright team. The only saving grace is we aren't back on that ploughed monstrosity they call a pitch so may have a chance to string a few passes together!

Couldn't really care who the opposition are to be honest - but that is just my personal opinion

While you won't be on your own I think you will be in the minority.
As much as I don't particularly have a lot positive to say about them after recent weeks I can think of less appealing games than Sheffield Wednesday (albeit for the 4th time in a month) not like were playing Fleetwood or Forest Green again :ROFLMAO:

I get what you are saying but at least it would be different! 🤣

It was horrendous Saturday. Besides 5 mins after the goal, it's as bad as I can remember for years.

We've attracted a lot of fans who haven't been through it all and clearly don't contribute to the atmosphere. We've gained 5000 on average for home games and it's quieter than most games last season.

I didn’t think our fans were bad at all Norwich. Heard and sang songs all game.

I thought we were poor against Norwich and have been for quite a while now - especially away.

Drummer makes a difference.
Also, I think it can depend upon where you are in the away end. I was right down near the front at Norwich, and the volume sounded less than normal, plus the Norwich fans sounded louder to our right, Suspect if I'd been nearer the back I'd have had a different perspective.

Sheffield Wednesday manager comments ahead of the game.

"I have to look on Monday at who is available and who is not. It will be like today (Saturday), I will make the final decision on who can play and sometimes it is not clear even to the warm-up. You have to decide who can start and who cannot, who can be on the bench and who cannot. I have to look at Coventry but the big game is against Birmingham.

Asked whether it could be that he decides to leave out the vast majority of his first team squad for the trip, Röhl said: "This is a decision that I will make on Monday and what I can do to achieve our goals in the league. The cup is nice, but the important, key point is winning on Friday of course."

perspective, I thought we were quite good and small margins and that. Norwich were at it from the start, we killed that, took the lead, and really were one finish away from closing the game out

It’s a fair point but I don’t think its just been Norwich, I think it’s been poor for a while.

That’s your perspective and absolutely valid. I heard songs all game and every time Norwich started a song, we countered it. I wouldn’t say we were awesome, but I wouldn’t agree we were quiet either.

Where's the nearest entrance (exit?) to the smoking area from block W1? Asking for a friend...
